- Wolf von Beneckendorff was born on March 1, 1891 in Stralsund, Germany. He was an actor, known for Gejagt bis zum Morgen (1957), Der Weg zu Isabel (1940) and Liebe im Kuhstall (1928). He died on January 27, 1960 in East Berlin, East Germany.

- Beneckendorff took part in radio play productions and since 1953 has appeared mostly in the field of comical old people or nobles in supporting roles in numerous DEFA films and in productions on GDR television .
