The Boys Season 4: Meet the New Characters and Supes - Main Image
The Boys season 4 is returning to Prime Video in June! Considering that new characters are joining the official cast, here are all the new The Boys season 4 characters and supes coming in.
Content Spoilers: This article contains spoilers for Prime Video's The Boys season 4, proceed with caution.
Two of the newest and hottest supes coming in The Boys season 4 are Firecracker and Sister Sage, as previously teased with their costume designs:
Valorie Curry as Firecracker
Valorie Curry plays the redheaded Firecracker who joined Homelander on stage in the official The Boys season 4 trailer.
Based on what's been teased, Firecracker is likely replacing Starlight in The Seven to be used as a younger and sweeter kind of hero than Starlight was.
Firecracker, as her supes' name suggests, can use pyrokinesis in some form, which could explain the weapons on her sash.

Well, here we go again. One of the best superhero content of the current times, The Boys is back with a brand new season and this time it is even more crazier than ever before. Created by Eric Kripke and based on a comic book series of the same name, the superhero dark comedy series follows a group of vigilantes as they go up against morally bankrupt superheroes led by a maniacal Superman-like supe Homelander.
In Season 4 we will see Billy Butcher getting The Boys back together to go up against Homelander and his minions as he doesn’t have much time left after the events of Season 3. The Boys spin-off series Gen V is also going to play a big role in the upcoming season as a supe-killing virus that was introduced in the spin-off series is probably going to be the main MacGuffin of the season.

The trailer of season 4 of The Boys saw many surprises, including a return from Black Noir. The iconic character was killed at the end of season 3 by the Homelander for not telling him about his father. However, the new season sees the silent, masked hero returning to fight Billy the Butcher and the gang in an action-packed scene.
The trailer sees a hand-to-hand combat between Butcher and Black Noir at an office. While fans were excited to see Black Noir returning, they were greeted with an appearance from Gen V’s Asa Germann, who plays Sam Riordan. This sparked a fan theory that Riordan would don the Black Noir suit in the upcoming season.

Prime’s The Boys has gained immense love and appeal from its fans, as it has shown a refreshing take on superheroes, which goes beyond themes like nobility and selflessness. The series showcases a darker side of heroism and how individuals would act if they had superpowers. With relevant themes and equally dark humor, the show is definitely a fan favorite.

Saying goodbye to Sam Waterston’s Jack McCoy after 30 years on Law & Order was never going to be easy.
He’s been with the show and its various spin-offs through some pivotal storylines – not bad for a role he almost passed on!
He’s been one of the few constants throughout the original series, and after Thursday’s episode, Jack is well and truly done with his career as the District Attorney.
The good news? It was an emotional last chapter that put things into perspective for Jack as he said one final goodbye to the job he’d done for years.
But where did it all go wrong?
Well, it’s a long story. Let’s dive in!
Jack was effectively forced to resign

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Law & Order Season 23 Episode 5, “Last Dance.”] “It’s been a hell of a ride,” Jack McCoy says in one of Sam Waterston‘s last times on-screen on Law & Order (for now?). After more than 400 episodes, the Da says goodbye on the NBC drama in an episode that also brings him back into the courtroom. The case appears to be somewhat simple: A woman is found dead in Central Park, and digging into her life reveals she was raped years earlier—by the same man who was seen in the area. However, that man is Scott Kelton (Rob Benedict), the 13th richest man alive. Prior to his arrest, he says he heard someone scream but didn’t see anything, called 9-1-1, and pointed Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) and Riley (Reid Scott) in the direction of a vendor, who was previously convicted of felony ...

[This story contains spoilers from the Feb. 22, 2024 episode of Law & Order, “Last Dance.”]
Jack McCoy left the world of Law & Order the way he came into it — in a courtroom.
Sam Waterston said goodbye to the long-running NBC franchise in Thursday’s episode, ending his 19-season, 405-episode run as prosecutor-turned-New York County District Attorney Jack McCoy. Waterston’s final episode saw Jack returning to the courtroom to finish trying a murder case in which the defendant is a billionaire with close ties to New York’s mayor.
The episode, titled “Last Dance” and written by showrunner Rick Eid, constructs a solid but not slam-dunk case against Scott Kelton (Rob Benedict), who’s accused of killing a former employee, Veronica Knight (Shay Guthrie), who was about to go public with an accusation that he had sexually assaulted her several years earlier. McCoy instructs prosecutor Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) not to accept a plea deal with less than a 10-year sentence...

It’s been a long hiatus for The Boys, but we finally have some clarity on when the Prime Video hit will be back on the air.
Hint: It’s soon!
After months of teases, the streaming service revealed Thursday that The Boys Season 4 will premiere Thursday, June 13.
We’re getting a three-episode drop, followed by one new episode weekly until the season finale on Thursday, July 18.
After so long off the air, we’d have liked all eight episodes on the premiere date, but the cadence isn’t that bad.
The world is in a different place when the R-rated superhero drama returns, with the streaming service describing it as “on the brink.”
Homelander and Victoria’s team-up could spell doom
Victoria’s (Claudia Doumit) pursuit of the Oval Office continues, and given her close association with Homelander (Antony Starr), it can only mean bad things for the good guys.

Regardless of genre, fans place an enormous amount of expectation on series finales. It's not easy to carry the responsibility of wrapping up any extraneous plot threads and character arcs in a satisfying way for longtime audiences. Even the most acclaimed shows, like "Seinfeld" and "The Sopranos," can have their entire successful run overshadowed by middling or divisive reception to their respective finales. This distinction carries over to horror TV shows, with plenty of notable series marring their celebrated legacies because of the last impressions left by divisive final episodes.
Horror shows often suffer from abrupt cancellations, denying audiences a satisfying amount of closure thanks to anticlimactic endings that don't live up to fan expectations. Even some of the most enduring and iconic horror shows have come to a close with lackluster finales. Here are the most maligned endings that ruined the legacies of TV horror classics by failing to stick the landing.

It has been 25 years since Keri Russell graced the small screen in the iconic role of Felicity Porter.
Felicity, the J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves-produced college drama, was a critical darling of The WB, becoming a phenomenon well before "the big chop" controversy and often topping the list of young adult classics to this very day.
The series amassed 84 episodes over four seasons, and it was nominated for 38 awards, including a Golden Globe Best Actress nod for Keri Russell.
The series remains impactful, even two and a half decades later. And it's primarily due to the allure of the cast, many of whom are still going strong in their careers all these years later.
So, where is the cast of Felicity now? Check it out!

The new Supes joining ‘The Boys’ cast Antony Star, Karl Urban, and Cameron Crovetti in ‘The Boys’ | Amazon Prime
Much of The Boys season 4 is still being kept under wraps. But a few details have come out about the series’ next chapter that have only intensified the hype. According to Variety, it was announced last year that Valorie Curry and Susan Hayward would be added to the cast. The two will be playing Supes Firecracker and Sister Sage respectfully, and according to the showrunner, they’ll fit right in with The Boys’ chaotic universe.
“These new Supes are some of the best & craziest ever written for The Boys,” showrunner Eric Kripke once said according to Games Radar.

It is the second feature by Rebecca Eskreis, after the Cinedigm acquisition What Breaks the Ice. Seana Kofoed (30 Miles from Nowhere) wrote the screenplay.

Supernatural is long gone — The CW’s horror hit ended with a tear-jerking finale in 2020 — but its spirit lives on in…Wordle? Yep, it’s true. Besides hanging out whenever they can at fan conventions, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Rob Benedict, Ruth Connell, Richard Speight Jr., and Misha Collins have found a way to carry on — and compete — through the online word-guessing game. “We text each other our Wordle results every day!” says Collins, who played trench coat-wearing angel Castiel on the show for 12 seasons. He’ll have a little less time for word games, though, now that he’s playing Two-Face, one of Batman’s most tragic villains, in the new DC Universe-set drama Gotham Knights. Ironically, the 48-year-old actor was of two minds about taking on the dual role of upstanding D.A. Harvey Dent and his turned-evil disfigured alter ego. Besides wondering if he was right for the job,...

The Boys is adding more stars to its packed ensemble as Simon Pegg sets his return as Hughie’s (Jack Quaid) father alongside new recruit Rosemarie Dewitt who will play Hughie’s mom. But they aren’t the only new additions to Season 4’s cast as Supernatural alum Rob Benedict and Once Upon a Time‘s Elliot Knight also board in new roles. They join previously announced Season 4 additions, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. And actor Cameron Crovetti who plays Ryan has been upped from recurring to a series regular for Season 4. As viewers will recall, Pegg appeared in Season 1 of the series as the shy father of Quaid’s Hughie and briefly in Season 3 via video chat in one episode, but it seems he’ll have a larger presence once more. The angel Gabriel and God himself are entering the recording booth for a "Supernatural" rewatch and an accompanying podcast. Actors Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict, who played those selfsame roles of Gabriel and God on the long-running WB and CW series, are launching "Supernatural: Then and Now," a podcast where they will wind their way back through 15 seasons and 327 episodes of television.
"Supernatural" ran for a full decade and a half, from 2005 to 2020, but according to Collider, the podcast will be a weekly affair, so Speight and Benedict could conceivably get through the series in about 6 years. Mark your calendars, then, from now until 2028.

Exclusive: Following the movie’s TIFF premiere, Relativity Media will open Justine Bateman’s feature directorial debut Violet on Oct. 29 in NY and LA with an expansion to follow on Nov. 5.
The pic will also hit in home demand on Nov. 9.
Relativity, as we first told you, picked up Violet after its world premiere at SXSW.
The pic follows Violet Calder (Olivia Munn) as she realizes that she can no longer ignore the daily barrage of self-criticisms (voiced by Justin Theroux) that clouds her life. These self-criticism cause her to make fear-based decisions and hold her back from the kind of professional, personal, and romantic life she knows she wants. Unsure how to live a life free of that self-doubt, like her childhood friend Red (Luke Bracey), Violet realizes she has no choice but to travel the road that is more frightening to her than the fear that holds her back: Doing everything differently.

Kevin Alejandro had a slightly different experience from his “Lucifer” co-stars when wrapping up his time on the show, as his last day of shooting on the sixth and final season was one in which he both acted in the episode and directed it. And it just so happens that this particular installment, “Goodbye, Lucifer,” featured the moment that fans of Alejandro’s Detective Dan Espinoza have been waiting for ever since he died and went to hell at the end of Season 5B: the closure that allows him to head up to heaven.
The scene comes in the penultimate episode of the series, which launched Friday, and features a conversation between Dan and his young daughter with Chloe (Lauren German), Trixie (Scarlett Estevez), who has been devastated over her father’s death for months and unable to cope without him.

Two very important deaths book-ended Sam Winchester’s journey on the CW’s “Supernatural,” and now one equally emotional loss will set up actor Jared Padalecki’s new on-screen journey on the same network’s “Walker.”
The long-running demon-hunting drama, “Supernatural,” which came to an end after 15 seasons in November 2020, started with Padalecki’s Sam getting sucked back into the “family business” of “saving people and hunting things” after his college girlfriend Jess (Adrianne Palicki) was killed in the same way as his mother was when he was just an infant. He was a character who grew up on the road with his big brother Dean (Jensen Ackles) while their father searched for the thing that killed their mother, but when he got old enough to choose for himself, he wanted to go to college and try to have a normal life.

Spoiler Alert: This recap contains details about tonight’s series finale of The CW’s Supernatural, “Carry On.”

Episode 1520 opens on an average, relaxed morning for the pair, in which they go about their routine, eating breakfast, doing chores and wiping down their guns. While waiting for any word of supernatural activity, the brothers are met with none, deciding to use their down time to attend an event called Pie Fest. Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Carry On,” the series finale of “Supernatural.”
For 15 seasons the Winchester brothers of the CW’s “Supernatural” put the rest of humanity’s needs ahead of their own, so it is only fitting that in their final episode they were still doing that same thing and ended up getting the “heaven [they] deserve.”
The series finale, “Carry On,” started as a throwback episode to the monster-of-the-week format of the drama’s earliest days, full of callbacks and references to what made audiences fall in love with the show — and the boys — in the first place. They may have been able to write their own story with Chuck (Rob Benedict) out of the picture, but that story still included the family business — even though it meant losing one of them.
And for once, dead on “Supernatural” really, truly meant dead.

With only four episodes to go for the CW’s “Supernatural,” things are looking dire for Team Free Will.
While Dean (Jensen Ackles) is ready and willing to let Jack (Alexander Calvert) sacrifice himself to take down Chuck aka God (Rob Benedict), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) are hoping there’s another way. Part of Castiel’s reasoning, Collins tells Variety, is because he is “definitely clouded” by his paternal feelings for Jack “and he’s trying to do his best to both save the world and save his family.”
That quest, which has been at the center of the show since its earliest days, often sees the pieces at odds with each other, and Collins shares that such is certainly the case in the final few episodes of the long-running series.

The Winchesters’ work may not yet be done on “Supernatural,” but their portrayers, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, already have to think about shedding Dean and Sam and stepping into new characters.
The CW demon-hunting drama called series wrap in early September, with the guys sharing their final scene as on-screen brothers on Sept. 10.
“When I showed up, it was our last day of filming at the studios and it was a big day, script-wise. And our third Ad, Emma — we call her G.G., which is short for ‘garden gnome,’ because she’s little — she came up to me and was already in tears; she was like, ‘It’s our last day at the studio.’ And I just said, ‘Nope. No, no no, another day at the office, business as usual, don’t start that s—.’ That’s how I do the work,” Ackles tells Variety.

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details from tonight’s episode of The CW’s Supernatural.
Following a six-month hiatus brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, Supernatural returned to The CW tonight to begin wrapping up its 15th and final season.
Kicking off an upcoming run of seven episodes is “Last Holiday,” which sees hunters of the supernatural Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) plotting to kill a vengeful God (Rob Benedict), as their de facto brother Jack (Alexander Calvert) wrestles with the loss—and redemption—of his soul.
When the pipes in their bunker hideout start to malfunction, Sam and Dean head to its control center, hoping to reset the system with the push of a button. Unexpectedly, it reactivates Mrs. Butters (Meagan Fay), a wood nymph helper of the Men of Letters, who had been trapped in standby mode since 1958.
At first, the brothers enjoy the magical being’s presence.
