- Adriana Benetti was born on December 5, 1919 in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. She was an actress, known for C'è sempre un ma! (1943), The Bigamist (1942) and Sins of Pompeii (1950). She died on February 24, 2016 in Rome, Italy.
- She was a student at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, an Italian performing arts school set in Rome, when director Vittorio De Sica chose her for her debut role in "Teresa Venerdi". In 1947 she gave rise to a scandal by posing, bikini-clad, on the Italian magazine "Tempo illustrato".
