Kerry Beyer is an accomplished actor, writer and director, having
worked with some of film's greatest talents. He's starred alongside
Michael Biehn in the horror film Jacob, fought Chuck Norris in Walker
Texas Ranger, and narrated the award winning audio book for the Disney
movie Holes, starring Shia LaBeouf.
He is a semi-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting,
winner of the Slamdance Anarchy Film Showcase, and has been called the
"New Norman Bates of horror" by Fangirltastic (Planet Fury), and "One
of the modern greats of cult horror" by Cinesploitation.
As co-founder of the SplatterFest Film Festival, he's worked alongside
Bruce Campbell and Anthony Michael Hall, to whom Kerry had the honor of
presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award. "SplatterFest is an exciting
new film festival that serves as a platform providing resources to
filmmakers to help them to grow in their craft, thus bringing more film
opportunities to Texas. Along with Kerry, I'm excited to help spotlight
the next generation of storytellers," says Hall.
