Fans of Marvel films, or movies in general, now have a chance to own a piece of cinematic history. That’s right, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, is giving away one of the shields used in Avengers: Endgame to benefit the charity Girl Powerful, which is a youth empowerment organization.
Evans, who played the iconic Marvel character for nearly a decade, took to Twitter to let fans know about the piece of movie memorabilia being available, saying:
“Hey guys, you have a chance to win a screen-used Captain America shield from Avengers: Endgame to support Girl Powerful who are community leaders in real life. Only 4 days left to enter a piece of Marvel history.”
Fans have until midnight on February 20th to be eligible for the prize, and there are different tiers to enter. The more you donate, the greater chance you have of winning the shield. A $10 donation gets you 100 entries,...

With filming soon to get underway for the upcoming Loki TV show, prop master Russell Bobbitt has shared a brief video hinting at the return of the God of Mischief’s scepter.
Bobbitt has been a regular of Marvel’s art department since 2008’s Iron Man, with credits on everything from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to Captain America: Civil War. He’s also reportedly involved in at least four of the McU’s live-action Disney Plus shows, including the highly anticipated spinoff series for Tom Hiddleston’s former villain.
While official details on the Loki show are still in short supply, Bobbitt’s Twitter account has offered a quick tease of things to come by way of a short video of the famous scepter, still in its box, along with the ominous caption:
“Loki…I am back”

I wouldn't say the Hollywood Prop Master is an underappreciated part of the movie making process, but I think most people undervalue their work. Think of all the iconic replicas you've sought out for your favorite film franchise, and then now remember that was the effort of someone working tirelessly to create that original piece just for your enjoyment. Russell Bobbitt is one of those guys, in fact he might just be one of The guys right now considering he's the creator of things such as The Infinity Gauntlet in Thor, and the Arc Reactor In Iron Man.
Oh, also there's pretty blatant advertising for Zippo in this video so just be aware of that. ...

Perhaps it’s the mooted transition to Ronin, or the fact that he’s one of the most woefully underused characters in the entire McU, but Clint Barton (Aka the sharp-shooting Hawkeye) has become something of a cult hero as we approach Avengers: Infinity War.
He’s been relegated to the sidelines ever since the credits rolled on Captain America: Civil War, but thanks to the back-to-back release of Avengers 3 and 4 – two films that are seemingly more different than we’ve been led to believe – Hawkeye looks set to make up for lost time. Not only will he apparently be on his own journey (which could have to do with the Soul Stone), but he’s also set to get a bit of an upgrade, along with many of his fellow Avengers.

We have yet to see Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye in any of the marketing for Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel Studio obviously has some big surprising plans for him that they aren't willing to reveal, but when we do see him in Infinity War and Avengers 4, he'll have a lot of cool new stuff.
While talking to members of the press during a set visit, Marvel Studios' prop master Russell Bobbitt sat down to discuss his work and he started talking about Hawkeye, saying:
"Hawkeye is getting a lot of cool new stuff. We're developing a lot of interesting stuff for him. All in the, sort of, bow related but some new gadgets he has in addition to the bow."
He went on to assure that Hawkeye is "totally there" and "a part of the world!" That still doesn't tell us if he's actually going to appear in Infinity War or not.

When I was on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, we were talking to the propmaster Russell Bobbitt who was letting us wear Starlord’s headphones when I asked “are there any cool new props we can see from this movie?” He knew exactly what I would want to see. He turned on […]

Twenty-five miles outside Atlanta, down a nondescript rural road and past a security checkpoint where proper credentials, I assure you, are absolutely required, a spaceship has landed. The arches and flooring that make up the ship are pristinely white, like some sort of cosmic Apple store, and yellow-orange light glows from all directions, as if the whole thing had been dropped inside a lava lamp. Its passengers include a space outlaw wearing a shirt with a candy bar logo emblazoned on it, a blue-ish, tattooed alien meathead, a woman with green skin and another woman in skintight green spandex with antennae sprouting from her head, and Kurt Russell.
Russell affably welcomes three-fifths of the so-called Guardians of the Galaxy aboard his ship, a wide grin spreading across his scruffy face. The alien with the antennae, Mantis, looks on skeptically, however, as Peter Quill, Gamora and Drax survey the ship in wonder. Fleetwood Mac's "The...

Marvel’s secret weapon is the man who makes them: propmaster Russell Bobbitt.
Now at work on his sixth film for Marvel Studios, Bobbitt builds the objects that save (and sometimes threaten to destroy) the world: Thor’s hammer. Iron Man’s glowing Arc reactor. Captain America’s vibranium shield.
Among the countless objects he supplied for this Friday’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bobbitt crafted 46 different shields of various levels of flexibility and style, constantly refreshing and repainting those that were damaged in stunts or fight scenes throughout the three-month production. He has previously worked on all three Iron Man films,...

Among the outlets who visited the set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier last year was Southern Bella's Ways To Save, and now it seems their embargo has been lifted. The blog has revealed a new production image as well as quotes from the Marvel sequel's property master, Russell Bobbitt. "In our movie we have four different looks because he goes into different scenarios, different missions," Bobbit said of Cap's shield. "He applies different material — Marvel materials that help make the shield stealth in different situations. So, we have four different styles. In theory in the Marvel lore, there’s one shield. In this movie we have a couple surprises with the shield. It’ll appear that there are different shields, but it’s only one shield. That one shield I have to make 50 of them to accommodate all the different (types of material)– I have hard rubber, soft rubber,...

It's all but officially stamped by Paramount Home Video that the newly reimagined Star Trek will arrive on home video come November 17. The movie will be available as a three-disc Blu-ray, a two-disc DVD with loads of extra features and a single-disc film that will include a director's commentary track by J.J. Abrams.
There will also be a gimmicky feature on the cover for the disc. Called "augmented reality," when you hold up the cover to the Star Trek DVD in front of your computer's webcam you will be treated to an interactive hologram-like image on your screen. By turning your hand you will be able to move the image and tour five different rooms onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, as well as engage enemies in a space battle.
While the arrival date is known, it's less clear what kind of extra material will be on the two-disc and three-disc sets.
