- Lonnie Brooks was born on December 18, 1933 in Dubuisson, Louisiana, USA. He was an actor, known for Blues Brothers 2000 (1998), The Express (2008) and Forever Lulu (2000). He died on April 1, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
- A blues guitarist, he started out playing zydeco with accordionist Clifton Chenier. In the 1950s he went by the name "Guitar Junior", and led a band in Port Arthur, TX. He moved to Chicago at the urging of singer Sam Cooke, and changed his name to Lonnie Brooks because there was already a Guitar Junior in town.
