A 4-year-old girl reportedly died Friday after she was allegedly left in a hot car in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, by her babysitter. According to the Associated Press, the caretaker went to work without dropping the child off at day care as usual. She left the child in the backseat of the car until about 3:30 p.m. and found the child unresponsive. Emergency crews tried to revive the child, but she was pronounced dead upon her arrival to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, according to AP. The National Weather Service said the temperature reached 97 degrees in Williamsport just after 4 p.m.
