- He was selected as an All-Pro and a Member of the Pro Bowl team in 1959 and 1960 when the Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers for the N.F.L. Championship. He played seven seasons for the Eagles and intercepted 20 passes. The team retired his No. 40.
