- (Sunday 30th October 2016) Made a pre-recorded contribution to BBC Radio 6 Music's "Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service" where he thanked Cocker for his previous weeks' tribute and reciprocated their mutual fondness. In tribute Jarvis played one of Desmond's favourite tracks: "Errol Flynn" by Amanda McBroom. This was Desmond's final broadcast appearance on BBC Radio.
