Klaus Badelt‘s Label Zero has released the soundtrack album for the animated feature Jock of the Bushveld. The album includes selections from the film’s original score by Badelt and Ian Honeyman. Also featured on the soundtrack are original songs performed by Bryan Adams, Johnny Clegg, Mandy Patinkin, Craig Hinds, Nianell and James Carrington. The album is available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the soundtrack after the jump. Also check out Badelt’s online store to download all score tracks for free. Jock of the Bushveld directed by Duncan MacNeillie marks South Africa’s first 3D animated feature. The movie centers on the fearless dog Jock (voiced by Bryan Adams) who helps his master survive the wild challenges of the 1880s gold rush in the northeast of what would become South Africa. Donald Sutherland is narrating the film. The movie was released in South Africa this past weekend.
