. Composer 'Steve Reich' is her son from her first marriage.
Wrote the book or lyrics for some 12 Broadway musicals.
Made her debut singing at age 5 at the Fox Theater in Detroit.
Appeared in Broadway's "New Faces of 1952" in which she co-wrote many of the songs. She also appeared in the 1954 film version of "New Faces."
She was the sister of producer Leonard Sillman.
