- He contracted Malaria as a child and as an adult became involved in a charity called Nothing But Nets that procures and distributes mosquito nets to prevent the spread of Malaria.

- He has played the same characters (Dr. Harrison "Harry" Wells and Eobard Thawne) in five different series: Batwoman (2019), Arrow (2012), The Flash (2014), Supergirl (2015) and DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016).
