Shortly after releasing “What Other People Say,” Demi Lovato and Sam Fischer have revealed a video for their collaborative single.
Directed by Dano Cerny, the clip opens with Lovato sitting in a dark train as it pours outside. After she meets up with Fischer, the duo stands on top of the moving train, singing into the night. They trade verses and harmonize on the chorus: “I used to call my mom every Sunday/So she knew her love wasn’t far away/But now I’m all fucked up out in L.

LSD, the supergroup made up of Labrinth, Sia and Diplo, kept things colorful on the stage at The Ellen Show during a performance of “No New Friends.” The performance, the group’s first live appearance together, featured a cartoon-like backdrop and a brightly colored costumes, and saw the trio acting out a wildly choreographed rendition of the song.
In the clip, Diplo sits atop a cartoon elephant and plays the drums while Labrinth moves around the stage with a microphone. Sia, as usual, keeps her face hidden as her trusty...

LSD – the collaborative project between U.K. singer/producer Labrinth, pop anthemist Sia and electronic producer Diplo – shared their new video for “No New Friends” on Tuesday, and it’s an appropriately fantastical visual for the psychedelic-inspired supergroup.
The clip, directed by Dano Cerny and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, stars Sia’s sixteen-year-old body double Maddie Ziegler as a friendly giantess. She encounters the pink-clad Labrinth in a Dr. Seussian land of puff-ball trees and whimsical puffy clouds, and the two quickly form a bond. They frolic through the trees,...

Little Big Town’s newly released official music video for “The Daughters” represents three distinct time periods — the Fifties, Eighties and present day — and a young woman’s perceived place in them. Incorporating the young dancers seen in the previously released “Dancer’s Cut” version of the clip, this version renders the tune’s already potent message even stronger, presenting the lead character’s evident-yet-unspoken conflict as she dares to challenge gender roles and expectations in a high-school environment.

The third Children Of The Corn movie is a step up, and a really fun movie...
The film: After the disappearance of their father, brothers Eli (Daniel Cerny) and Joshua (Ron Melendez), are adopted by a Chicago couple, William (Jim Metzler) and Amanda (Nancy Lee Grahn). The brothers are from Gatlin, Nebraska and are used to more conservative ways, but slowly Joshua acclimatises to his new environment. However, Eli is less keen to shed the religion of He Who Walks Behind The Rows and begins scheming to lure in his fellow students with his magic brainwashing corn.

You would think that the adoption going drastically wrong in Children Of The Corn II: The [Not So] Final Sacrifice would put people off taking in weird kids from Gatlin, but here we are. Children Of The Corn III: Urban Harvest...

Two of my favourite Full Moon flicks, Dollman and Demonic Toys, have been given the Blu-ray treatment by the folks at 88 Films. Already owning the pair on DVD we take a look at these new releases to see how they compare and if the new Blus are worthy of an upgrade…
Dollman
Stars: Tim Thomerson, Jackie Earle Haley, Kamala Lopez, Humberto Ortiz, Nicholas Guest, Judd Omen, Frank Collison | Written by Chris Roghair | Directed by Albert Pyun
Former funnyman, turned TV stalwart, turned action star, Tim Thomerson had already made a name for himself in the Empire Pictures/Full Moon franchise Trancers before spoofing the very same character and his take no crap persona in Dollman for one of my favourite directors, Albert Pyun.
Brick Bardo (Thomerson) is a traveller from outer space who is forced to land on Earth. Though regular sized on his home planet, he is doll-sized here on Earth,...

Coinciding with the release today of TV on the Radio’s new album, Nine Types of Light, is a near-feature consisting of a video for each song, all sequenced with an eye towards a longer-form narrative. From the band’s site:
Nine Types of Light is as much an album as it is a movie by TV on the Radio.
The movie is meant to be a visual re-imagining of the record, and includes a music video for every song on the album.
The band personally asked their friends and the filmmakers they admired to help direct the music videos.
Tunde Adebimpe, the director for the full Nine Types of Light movie, storybooked the music videos together with interviews from local New Yorkers on various topics, including dreams, love, fame and the future. Tunde also directed the music video for “Forgotten.”
The various directors involved are: Tim Nackashi, Michael Please,...
