TV Land announced has picked up to series "Retired at 35," ordering 10 episodes of the sitcom starring George Segal.
"Retired," which is set to debut in first-quarter 2011, becomes TV Land's second original sitcom pickup following the recently greenlighted "Hot in Cleveland."
"Retired" centers on David (Johnathan McClain), a successful young businessman who decides to leave the rat race of New York and move into his parents' (George Segal, Jessica Walter) Florida retirement home.
The cast also includes Josh McDermitt, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Casey Wilson, Christine Ebersole, Matt Champagne, George Wyner and Jere Burns.
"Retired" is executive produced by writer Chris Case as well as Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.
"Cleveland," which stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White, debuts June 16.

Exclusive: TV Land has picked up the pilot Retired at 35 to series. The multicamera sitcom starring George Segal and Johnathan McClain has received a nine-episode order in addition to the pilot for a launch in the first quarter of 2011. TV Land has assembled the cast of multicamera pilot "Retired at 35."
Johnathan McClain, "Saturday Night Live" alum Casey Wilson and veterans Jessica Walter and Christine Ebersole have landed starring roles opposite previously cast George Segal.
"Retired" follows David (McClain), a successful young businessman who decides to leave the New York rat race behind and move into his father Alan's (Segal) Florida retirement home.
In her first TV gig since her headline-grabbing abrupt exit from "SNL" in September, Wilson will play David's sister. "Arrested Development" alumna Walter, repped by Innovative and manager Sandra Chang, will play David's mom, while Ebersole will play a potential love interest for Alan. McClain is with Innovative and Jackson-Medavoy.
Also cast in the pilot are Josh McDermitt as David's best friend, Ryan Michelle Bathe ("Trauma") as David's love interest, Matt Champagne as Amy's boyfriend, George Wyner as Alan's best friend as well as Jere Burns and Faye DeWitt.
