Mrs. Cook could possibly be played by actress Serena Scott Thomas, although nothing has been confirmed-she looks to be the right age plus she’s British-and could easily pull off Xander’s Scottish accent.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sarah Horton’s Been Talking About Xander Cook’s Mom
With Mother’s Day having approached and now gone, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has been talking to Xander about his mother a lot lately.
Mrs. Cook may not even know she has a granddaughter, and Sarah thinks she’s got the right to know and possibly meet baby Victoria Horton-Cook (uncredited infant).

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease Diana Colville, aka Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) will soon return to Salem. In 2023, it was confirmed she’d return around April 2024, although that could drag out a little later to May; might she have answers for John Black (Drake Hogestyn)?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Diana Colville And John Black Were Lovers In Greece
Diana and John Black were lovers in Greece, only then he and everyone else thought he was Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). When Roman turned up alive, John was discovered to have been “The Pawn” an assassin brainwashed by Stefano Dimera (Joseph Mascolo).
But the time when Diana and John/Roman were involved with each other in Greece was very close to the time when Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) claimed John killed his daughter.
Catherina Meleounis (Ellie Patrikios) was said to be killed by John as the Pawn, although...

We know Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has been away from Genoa City tending to his irrepressible mother, Gloria, played by the divine Judith Chapman. Viewers are going to get some answers as to what Glo has been up to and why Michael’s been away on Y&r’s Thanksgiving episode airing tomorrow, Wednesday, November 22. TV Insider chatted with Chapman about what viewers can expect, how Gloria has evolved, and she chats about two of her past favorite roles, Charlotte Greer on Ryan’s Hope and Ginny Blake on General Hospital. Thanksgiving in Genoa City wouldn’t be the same without Gloria! Judith Chapman: It’s like we haven’t missed a beat. Lots of hugs, how are yous? Steve the director that day said, “You did that in one take!” I looked into the camera said, “Did you expect anything else?” We laugh and giggle, then, we rock and roll.

Soap Opera Digest exclusively reported on September 23 that “The Young and the Restless” will be seeing a familiar face in Genoa City this fall: Judith Chapman will reprise her role as Gloria, the mother of the often dysfunctional siblings Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Are you excited for her to reunite with her sons?
Gloria was introduced to “Y&r” in 2004 when she was played by “Knots Landing” alum Joan Van Ark. But after a year Chapman stepped in to fill Gloria’s shoes until her last appearance on the show almost exactly two years ago in October 2018. She should be a proud mama since the actors who play her sons are both Daytime Emmy winners, though surprisingly Chapman herself has not been nominated despite more than a decade in the role.

One of General Hospital‘s great murder mysteries had its roots in the fictional town of Laurelton, and more than 34 years later, I am here to vaguely remember it.
Why? I was tweeting this week about how someone in the real world’s political arena has a habit of “gaslighting” his/her constituents. That made me recall the first time I ever heard the term “gaslight” — when Gh‘s Ginny Webber led Bobbie Spencer to believe that she had killed the abusive Dl Brock, when in fact [Spoiler Alert!] Ginny herself had done the deed, albeit in self-defense. (Watch Judith Chapman’s killer confession here.

Marlena gets kidnapped so often it's become a joke.
She's supposed to be this strong, smart woman -- a female psychiatrist who has been helping the citizens of Salem with their mental health issues for over 40 years. But whenever the plot demands it, she gets kidnapped or attacked and needs John to save her.
Their love story is always centered around her being the damsel in distress and him being her knight in shining armor. And on Days of Our Lives during the week of 3-4-18, it happened again thanks to Diana plotting against Marlena.
To her credit, Marlena does see through Diana, which is more than I can say for her husband.
John still insisted there was no reason for Diana to lie about Leo's parentage and seemed generally clueless about his ex's romantic interest in him.
That's silly. John is supposed to be a super-spy! How can he possibly be that oblivious?...

A man proving his love to his ex-girlfriend by rescuing her from a dangerous situation is a soap staple.
On Days of Our Lives during the week of 2-4-19, Ben and Chad were both determined to redeem themselves by rescuing loved ones who had been kidnapped, and Stefan took a bullet to save Chloe.
These stories had all the elements of great soapy drama, yet they felt more like stunts designed to grab ratings during February sweeps than anything else. While the random violence took up a lot of screen time, the most fascinating story wasn't that at all.
It was Leo's backstory.
Up until this point, Leo was nothing but irritating.
He forced Sonny to marry him while hitting on every guy he saw, and he seemed to see straight guys as a challenge to be overcome.
But when he confronted his mother, all of that changed.

I didn't expect to love Diana Cooper as much as I do.
Judith Chapman is a soap legend who played snobby, evil Anjelica to perfection back in the 1990s and it's great to have her back on canvas.
But the Leo story has been nothing but annoying so far, and Days of Our Lives' track record with bringing back old characters hasn't been great lately. So Diana's snarky, snooty, enigmatic ways on Days of Our Lives during the week of 1-29-19 were a refreshing surprise.
From the moment DIana set foot on the Kiriakis mansion grounds, she had my interest.
So far, she's an old-school diva who rivals Kate for the title of coldest woman in Salem, except Kate would do anything for her kids and Diana seems to hate hers, at least to his face.
She abhors what Leo is doing, yet she does seem to want to protect him,...

Days of Our Lives is famous for some of its holiday traditions.
The Horton Christmas episode is an iconic part of the serial, and in years gone by, Days celebrated Thanksgiving as well.
And since Ron Carlivati took the reins as head writer in 2017, Days has a new tradition: a Halloween dream sequence episode.
I hated the 2017 Halloween sequence, and the 2018 one wasn't much better. There were some funny lines, but overall it felt like a waste of time that could have been used to move storylines forward.
Related: Get Shudder via Prime Video Channels for Spine-Tingling & Provocative Films, TV Series, & Originals!
The dream sequence did pay homage to past characters and storylines, mostly campy ones that not all viewers enjoyed.
The emphasis was on Marlena having once been possessed by the devil. Judith Chapman returned for a cameo as Anjelica Deveraux, who was really Satan come to get Marlena for the second time.

The Young and the Restless fans are getting restless and want to know where is Gloria (Judith Chapman)? We haven’t seen her at the Jabot gatekeeper post in recent days, so what gives? Worse yet, a millennial named Ted seems to have taken her place. Is he a temp while Gloria enjoys those spa days she bribed out of Billy (Jason Thompson) for transferring an obscene amount of Jabot money for him to gamble away? Or is Gloria gone for good or semi-good only to be seen around the holidays like so many extended family members? Yesterday, we watched as […]

According to speculation, Days of Lives fans can look forward to a favorite actress returning to the canvas, as Judith Chapman moves back into the town of Salem. According to Soap Opera News, Chapman is already taping scenes, reportedly as Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) mother. Yes, we know, Leo is supposedly dead, but could he really be alive and kicking, waiting to spring his next scam? Rumor has it that Leo is just waiting in the wings to team up again with that sleazy six-pack lawyer Ted (Gilles Marini), and this time around there will be third wheel — Leo’s mom. […]

John Grissmer is perhaps best known for his little-seen and ultra-rare gore fest, Blood Rage, out now from Arrow Video USA. But a full decade before directing the super-bloody slasher he is best-known for, he made his directing debut with Scalpel.
Robert Lansing stars as Dr. Phillip Reynolds, a wealthy plastic surgeon who has suffered a cursed life. First his wife drowns in a tragic accident and then his teenaged daughter’s boyfriend drowns in the backyard pool. Finally, his daughter, overcome with sadness, runs away from home and disappears. It’s been a year now and there is no sign of Reynold’s beloved daughter, Heather (Judith Chapman). Now his father-in-law has passed away. Staunchly conservative and against plastic surgery because he didn’t believe in “changing the looks God gave one,” the Old Man wasn’t much of a fan of Reynolds to begin with.

Peter Bergman is nominated for Best Actor at the Daytime Emmys for the 21st time this year. That’s more than anyone else in the history of the category by far. The first of those noms was for his role as Cliff Warner on “All My Children,” but the other 20 have all come for playing Jack Abbott on “The Young and the Restless.” Given how often he’s nominated, though, it may be surprising that he has only won three times. Will he take home a fourth trophy in 2018? The winners will be announced on April 29, but they’ve already been decided in the drama acting categories by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. Watch Bergman’s submission above.
The reel begins with a comedic scene between Jack and Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman), who are shocked and horrified to wake up in bed together after a drunken night.

Greg Rikaart left the role of Kevin Fisher on CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” in 2017, but his work during his departure helped earn him a Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Rikaart previously won an Emmy for this role in 2005 on his first of four consecutive nominations in this category. Will the Emmy voters reward him with the ultimate parting gift? The winners of the Emmys will be announced April 29, but blue ribbon panels have already decided the winners after viewing sample performance reels. Watch Rikaart’s submission above.
The reel consists of two short scenes revolving around the death of Kevin’s wife Chloe (Best Supporting Actress nominee Elizabeth Hendrickson). The reel begins with Kevin delivering a tearful eulogy at Chloe’s funeral. He tells Chloe that the world didn’t understand her and that she had endured more pain than others could imagine, including the death of her daughter Delia.

Scalpel (1977) is currently available on Blu-ray from Arrow Video
Us television staple Robert Lansing (Star Trek, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone) stars as a deranged surgeon in this twisty-turny psychological thriller from Blood Rage director John Grissmer.
In Scalpel, Lansing plays Dr. Phillip Reynolds, a man whose daughter Heather (Judith Chapman, As the World Turns, General Hospital) has run away from home a year prior following the suspicious death of her boyfriend. When he happens across a young woman one night, her face beaten beyond recognition, the unhinged Reynolds sees his an opportunity to put his trusty scalpel to use – hatching a plan to ”reconstruct” her face in the image of his missing daughter, and so claim her sizeable inheritance.

The hunky actor, William Levy, who played J. Lo’s love interest in her recent “I’m Into You” music video is being sued for sexual battery of a minor.
