Best known in the 1970s for his work on daytime soap operas. Later became
a recurring boss/nemesis to John Ritter on Three's Company (1976).
One daughter (born on their first wedding anniversary) and one
son.
In 1966 he, wife Nancy Cooperstein and David Rothenberg co-produced "Viet Rock" an anti-war play by Megan Terry that opened off-Broadway at the Martinique Theater. Jordan also appeared in the production. In 2008, he appeared in her production of "Something You Did" in New York.
He was often cast as a judge, attorney, prison warden or police officer.
