A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge character Jesse has been recreated as a Bull Airs shoe
A couple weeks ago, the shoe company Bull Airs revealed that they had created a shoe that was designed to look like the Blade character from the Puppet Master franchise. (You can take a look at that shoe Here.) Now they have unveiled a new collection of items that are inspired by the Jesse character from A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (watch it Here)! This includes the button-up shirt Jesse was wearing during his famous bedroom dance scene, a Freddy-slashed recreation of the hat he wears in the same scene, and… best of all… a shoe that is designed to look like Jesse in that scene, featuring a mixture of his shirt, his jeans, and Freddy’s sweater. Images of the shoe can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found on the Bull Airs website.

“Days of Our Lives” has been on the air since 1965, but now there’s even more “Days” in our lives. On August 1, the NBC soap launched an online digital series exclusively on the “Days of Our Lives” mobile app.
The new “Days” spinoff begins with an eight-episode series “Chad and Abby in Paris,” which explores the supercouple’s experiences in France, where they landed after departing from Salem earlier this year. They’ll be returning to Salem on “Days” proper this fall. In addition to Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi in the title roles, the online episodes will reintroduce “Days” favorites Austin (Austin Peck) and Carrie (Christie Clark) as well as a brand new character, Juliet (Rachele Schank).

Our lookbacks at the screen adaptations of Stephen King land at Children Of The Corn 2...
One of the more interesting aspects of these revisits so far has been how the sequels to different films have adapted to work without source material from Stephen King (Creepshow 2 aside). Mostly, they’ve not worked very well, but the Children Of The Corn franchise seems very determined to see if it can succeed in its seven further instalments. I like a challenge and have a morbid curiosity when it comes to these movies so I shall be watching all of them. Ask me again after the eighth Children Of The Corn movie as to whether this was a good idea or not.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the casting news.
Davidson’s villainous alter-ego — and her alter’s many alters — were last seen on Days in 1998 when she was presumed dead via drowning. However, in true soap fashion, Kristen had actually been stranded on an island.

Bo Brady is leaving Salem.
Days of Our Lives vet Peter Reckell’s wife, Kelly Moneymaker, confirmed his rumored exit on Tuesday, tweeting, “Hard to say goodbye to characters who’ve been on 4ever!! Hard 2 believe Bo will be one of those shortly!” No word yet on when Reckell — who has portrayed the popular daytime character on and off since 1983 — will officially depart Days.

Days of Our Lives is not giving up Hope, as star Kristian Alfonso has inked a new deal to remain with the NBC soap.
“I love my Days family, I love my job and I love our fans,” the actress said in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter (who first broke the news).
Alfonso has portrayed fan-fave Salem detective Hope Williams Brady — and half of the super-couple, Bo and Hope — since 1983, after the character suffered a case of Soras (that’s “Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome,” for the uninitiated).

Neighbours
Neighbors garnered a lot of talk last week because of the show’s first gay kiss and how it was handled. Many thought it was great that it was treated like no big deal in that Chris and Aiden were making out just like many of the other couples at the party had. But some viewers were upset that the kiss was in the background and not the center of the scene, which you would expect given that it was the first gay kiss for the show. While I commend Neighbors for how they handled the kiss, which was quite passionate and not awkward like many kisses between two straight actors can be, it’s symptomatic of the overall problem with this storyline. Like Chris and Aiden’s kiss, too much of the action is happening in the background.

CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful plans to bring back a popular character from Guiding Light to help launch its first-ever lesbian story line.
EW has learned exclusively that Crystal Chappell (pictured, left) — who was last seen playing Olivia, the popular lesbian lover of Natalia (Jessica Leccia) on Guiding Light — will portray Danielle, the other mother of Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey, pictured, center). Caroline was introduced last month as the never-before-seen daughter of Karen Spencer, who is played by longtime B&B favorite Joanna Johnson (pictured, right). Johnson returned to the sudser last month to begin the romantic story line.

Well, who wants to bet they'll be smoke signals coming from the set of the new cable series True Detectives, which is going to star Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey?
More shakeups at Days of Our Lives, with the show reportedly axing Matthew Ashford (Jack), Patrick Muldoon (Austin) and Christie Clark (Carrie) and Sarah Brown (Madison). I worry about the future of our young gays.
Betty White has joined Twitter. All is right with the world.
One Direction, who had a big week on SNL, iCarly, and a juicy blind item that may have been about them, is the focus of a $1 million lawsuit over the band's name, which is already taken by an unsigned band in the U.S.
Mitt Romney does his best "gay voice" when choosing a tie. Ugh.
