Convent-educated, blonde leading lady of early silents, daughter of a mining engineer. She was best known for being Broncho Billy Anderson's perpetual co-star in more than 60 westerns for Essanay. She went freelance in 1917 and worked variously for Paralta, Artcraft, Paramount, and Paragon. In 1922, she sued Pathe for $50,000 in damages when she was struck by a pipe while filming. She was married to a major in the U.S. Air Force.
