The 90th Academy Awards has concluded and I think a lot of movie geeks are happy with the way things played out! I couldn't be more excited to see Guillermo del Toro win Best Director and his film The Shape of Water win Best Picture of the year!
We also saw Gary Oldman win Best Actor, which he definitely deserved! Frances McDormand, took home the Best Actress Award and Sam Rockwell won for Best Supporting Actor for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Then there was Jordan Peele, who won Best Original Screenplay for Get Out, which so freakin' cool!
Personally, the one film that I didn't think should have won was Call Me By Your Name for Best Adapted Screenplay. Molly's Game, Logan, Mudbound, and The Disaster Artist were all better films with better scripts!
Below you'll find a full list of the nominees with the winners bolded. Are you happy with the winners?...

“There have been no arrests at this time,” Lt. Chris Cook of the Arlington, Texas, Police Department tells People. “We still have investigation that needs to be done on the speed involved.”
Alexis Butler, 18, of Arlington, died on Friday from injuries she suffered in the Nov. 10 collision, Arlington police said in a statement.
According to authorities, Butler was backing out of a friend’s driveway in a Toyota Camry about 6:20 p.

Former Glee star Dianna Agron is a married woman after exchanging vows with British rocker Winston Marshall in Morocco.
The American actress, 30, began dating the Mumford & Sons banjo player last year while going public with their relationship in July, 2015, when they were photographed walking hand-in-hand in Paris, France.
Before year's end, Winston popped the question over the Christmas holidays, and on Saturday (October 15), the happy couple became husband and wife in a romantic destination wedding, Dianna's representative confirms to Us Magazine.
Details are yet to emerge, as the pair is famously private and never even confirmed the rumours of its engagement after the news hit headlines at the start of the year (2016). Instead, the actress let her jewelry do the talking as she displayed a large diamond on her left ring finger during an outing for London Fashion Week in February.
And an insider reveals the 27-year-old musician always spoil his love whenever he can.

Yesterday's viral video showing Dennis Quaid supposedly having a meltdown on a film set seemed a bit too staged to be true, and had quite a few believing it was a gag (ala the Jimmy Kimmel twerking video).
Turns out the comedy website Funny or Die has now admitted to being behind the viral video and have released an updated video showcasing how the hoax was pulled off.
The clip comes as Deadline reports that Quaid is set to toppling Crackle first hourlong drama series "The Art Of More".
Christian Cooke and Kate Bosworth also star in the series which has received a ten-episode straight-to-series order from the digital network. The drama explores the cutthroat world of premium auction houses, and Quaid plays a charismatic real estate shark.

Romantic comedies take more than their fair share of beatings from critics, who typically gripe about saccharine plots, thin characters and potentially hazardous amounts of schmaltz. There’s such a bias toward romcoms that most audiences outside of teenage girls tend to avoid them like the plague – and some films, like last year’s Blended, show that maybe there’s a good reason for that. But then comes along a film like Love, Rosie to prove that not every “chick flick” has to feel like pulling teeth.
You may not have heard of Love, Rosie. It features two sought-after Hollywood stars – Lily Collins of the now-stalled Mortal Instruments franchise, and Sam Claflin of the record-breaking Hunger Games franchise – yet received a tiny February release with little to no publicity, a surefire sign that execs aren’t holding their breath for sizeable returns. One has to wonder why its distributor isn...

20th Century Fox is hard at work casting its upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot. We already know that Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle) will play Johnny Storm, but every other role is till available. Just recently Kate Mara ("House of Cards") and Emmy Rossum ("Shameless") tested for the part of Susan Storm, while Miles Teller tested to play Reed Richards. Meanwhile, British actor Christian Cooke is in the running to play The Thing. The Hollywood Reporter also learned that the plan is to once again use Doctor Doom as the main villain, but this time, the character will likely be female. The studio is currently searching for a major actress to take on the role. "Fantastic Four" is expected to begin shooting in March and be ready to hit theaters on June 19th, 2015.

A new story over at The Hollywood Reporter goes into the casting process on the upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot and throws in a new curveball.
They've learned that not only perennial antagonist Doctor Doom will be the villain again, but the studio is considering the possibility of switching the character's gender. Whichever way they go, a big name actor/actress will be cast in the role.
They also go into the casting of the four heroes themselves with a number of actors tested just this week.
Kate Mara and Emmy Rossum went in for Sue Storm, Miles Teller tested for Reed Richards and British actor Christian Cooke tested for Ben Grimm. They once again re-iterate that Michael B. Jordan is the only actor in contention for the role of Johnny Storm due to Fox exercising an option they have on him after "Chronicle".

Casting rumors have been springing up for months about Twentieth Century Fox’s upcoming reboot of Fantastic Four. Miles Teller, the hot young actor that has been said to be up for the part of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) has apparently entered the screen test phase of the casting process.
Who is Teller supposedly testing with? According to the report it is not rumored past candidates like Saoirse Ronan and Elizabeth Olsen, but rather House of Card‘s Kate Mara and Shameless’s Emmy Rossum. They’re apparently the real front-runners for Sue Storm,...

There has been a lot of chatter around Fox's reboot of "Fantastic Four" but little in the way of actual concrete information, though that hasn't stopped things from getting ridiculous. We're now at a moment when certain websites reach out to director Josh Trank to essentially confirm his denials about supposedly leaked plot points. It would seem that a certain core audience totally doesn't want spoilers but kind of wants them too. Anyway, we digress...the point is that testing is underway for the movie that is due in theaters next year, with another name surfacing and yet another rumor about what changes may happen to the canon. THR reports that "Shameless" star Emmy Rossum is among those in the mix for Sue Storm (played by Jessica Alba in the most recent film iterations), joining the previously reported batch of names that has included at various times Saoirse Ronan (who...

THR is reporting that several actors tested for Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot this week. Yesterday, Kate Mara and Emmy Rossum tested for the role of Sue Storm, and Miles Teller tested for Mr. Fantastic. Furthermore, Christian Cooke also went in for some testing, as the studio is apparently eying him to play Ben Grimm/The Thing (a role that Josh Gad was initially rumored for).
Most of these names had already been mentioned in previous reports, but what’s interesting here is that Saoirse Ronan, Kit Harington and Elizabeth Olsen have now all dropped off the list of potential candidates, as none of them went in for further testing this week.
Finally, THR is also telling us that Dr. Doom will be the villain and that the character’s gender is currently in flux. Not only does the studio want an A-list talent for the part, but...

A report from last month indicated that Twentieth Century Fox was ready to kick the casting process for their upcoming film The Fantastic Four into high gear and now it seems they've tested a number of actors just this week. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Kate Mara ("House of Cards") and Emmy Rossum ("Shameless") have both tested for the part of Sue Storm and that Miles Teller, who has been in the running for some time, tested for the role of Reed Richards. The site also notes that British actor Christian Cooke tested for the role of Ben Grimm aka The Thing and that once again Michael B. Jordan is the only one in contention for the role of Johnny Storm. The most interesting development...

After a long, hard search, (ok, maybe it wasn’t that long, or that hard), the studio has finally found a replacement for Charlie Hunnam in Fifty Shades of Grey. The Sons of Anarchy star was set to play Christian Grey but dropped out a few weeks ago.
Since then, a whole host of names have popped up in relation to who would replace him in the film. Scott Eastwood, Theo James, Christian Cooke and more were all rumored for the part but it looks like the studio has made up their mind today.
Variety is reporting that Jamie Dornan, who had been mentioned with the names above, has been selected to take the lead in Universal’s film. Did you actually think that we were going to get through the day without some casting news for Fifty Shades of Grey? Come on now, don’t be silly. We almost made it, we almost got there, but as Monday, October 21st draws to a close, in sneaks a report on two additional actors who are testing for the role of Christian Grey in the upcoming Sam Taylor-Johnson directed adaptation.
As has been the case recently, these two new actors are both relative unknowns, one being the Tony-nominated Billy Magnussen and the other being Aussie television actor Luke Bracey. Apparently, both of these young men are poised for a break out and are quickly on the rise.
Magnussen has a role in Disney’s upcoming Into The Woods and also appeared on As The World Turns as Casey Hughes. Bracey, on the other hand, was recently seen as Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

Another day, a few more names being tossed onto the list for "Fifty Shades of Grey," as Universal tries to figure out which young hunk is going to look best with their shirt off beside Dakota Johnson. We suppose acting ability could be important too, so who else is in the ever-growing mix? Well, the Tony-nominated Billy Magnussen is testing for Christian Grey (along with Jamie Dornan), and while he's known to a certain audience for playing Casey Hughes on "As The World Turns," his big-screen efforts have been scattered. But with a role in Disney's upcoming "Into the Woods," he poised to break out. Meanwhile, Luke Bracey, longtime Aussie TV actor and rising Hollywood kid who played Cobra Commander in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," is apparently also the mix. Anyway, these guys join Alexander Skarsgård, Theo James, Christian Cooke, Francois Arnaud and Scott Eastwood in the expanding list of possible leads.

Jamie Dornan is reportedly emerging as the new frontrunner to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie following the departure of Charlie Hunnam over the weekend.
