- Ron Cowen was born on September 15, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Queer as Folk (2000), An Early Frost (1985) and Sisters (1991).
- Attended Ohio State University, transferred to U.C.L.A. Graduated with a B.A. in English. Attended Graduate School at Univ. of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School of Communications.
