- Herbert M. Dawley was born on March 15, 1880. He was a producer and writer, known for Beauty and the Beast (1924), Jack and the Beanstalk (1924) and Silliettes (1923). He was married to LaVerne. He died on August 15, 1970 in New Providence, New Jersey, USA.
