There’s nothing like some quality trance to pull you out of your workday woes. Ilan Bluestone has teamed up with vocalist Giuseppe De Luca to deliver “Bigger Than Love,” a track that effectively straddles the line between more traditional trance and what the genre’s purists might file under “trouse.”
As with much of what is released on Anjunabeats, the higher tempo and rolling bass kicks of “Bigger Than Love” give it a distinct trance elitist appeal – but a glittery synth melody and saccharine vocals gift it with considerable main stage inclination as well. Considering that it’s considerably more obscure than what he put out for last year’s “Bonsai,” though, the track could still be construed as a sign that trance’s resurgence will continue into 2016.
