In addition to success at USC (University of Southern California) he
coached the United States Olympic Baseball Team to a Silver medal in
the 1984 Summer Games
Children: sons Justin and Terry; daughters Michele and Denise.
Survived by fourteen grandchildren, including USC freshman first
baseman-outfielder Adam Dedeaux.
A memorial service will be held in the spring 2006 at Dedeaux Field the
USC baseball diamond named for him in 1974.
