Julie Dole is a longtime post professional, with years of experience editing documentaries, features, shorts, commercials, animation, pitch trailers, and reality. After years in the industry, she boosted her skills with a new, second degree in Film, Television, and New Media from SMC. (This, while care-taking her mom.)
Besides editing, she has written at least five documentaries, not all of which are listed here. Most of those were released as straight-to-DVD music biographies, which boosted sales for their producer exponentially. But one ("Fathers of the Sport" a basketball documentary that viewed basketball through the lens of the civil rights movement), qualified Julie for WGA membership (Reality Caucus.)
In-between editing gigs, Julie writes short stories. "The Junior Blackhawks Want It All," a collection of stories based on true junior hockey escapades, is due out soon.
