- Solveig Dommartin was born on May 16, 1961 in Constantine, Constantine, France [now Algeria]. She was an actress and director, known for Wings of Desire (1987), Until the End of the World (1991) and Faraway, So Close! (1993). She died on January 11, 2007 in Paris, France.
