- (2018 - 2022) For the last four years - at the request of a prominent venture capitalist - I created and built a startup of mine called "You and Me Across Time". "You and Me Across Time" solves the riddle of "Why do we wait until it's too late to say what we really feel?" by building Video Monuments of Ourselves and our Loved Ones. It's a healing tool for grief and it enables the subscriber to "eulogize themselves".
- (2003) I adapted Bill Mahan's published book, "The Boy Who Looked Like Shirley Temple", with Kerrigan Mahan into a feature script, which was Honorably Mentioned at an independent screenwriting competition.
- (2006) I produced, edited and directed a documentary called "Brandon's Wave", which was showcased at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
- (2008) I finished 4th at Scriptapalooza with "Going Around in Circles: Life as Seen Inside a Goose" - In this totally true and autobiographical chronicle about my life; a single-parent must navigate the minefield of raising his teenage son, while dealing with the screwy stew of humanity as a bus driver in Telluride, Colorado.
- (2009 - 2017) For me, this time was a genuine 'creativity tsunami'. I created a sports souvenir, as well as, a board game about American Imperialism called "Spies & Lies" and e-published a novel called "modern malice", which then became a pilot script called "Head Trip". I created and wrote a series called "Searching for Genius" and directed the pilot. Additionally, I co-created, co-wrote and was set to be be a co-executive producer on a multi-part series called "The Project of Men". Designed to help men correct their behavior, the patriarchy saw 'no value'. In and around all that, I worked on my other art, creating a number of series, which includes "Hated...Just Because", "Staintings" and "What Goes on in Our Heads". I am an Emotional and Visceral Artist.
- (1980) I produced, co-created and co-wrote with director Mark Horowitz, the award-winning documentary entitled "Albert Whitlock: A Master of Illusion". This documentary was the first ever "behind the scenes" look at film making. It showed the creation of Special Visual Effects by matte artist, Albert Whitlock, for the Mel Brooks' film "History of the World: Part I". It features Mel Brooks, Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Wise, Hal Ashby, Richard Schickel, and Frank McCarthy. It won numerous awards including The Golden Athena at the Athens Film Festival, The Bronze Hugo at the Chicago Film Festival, the Silver Medal at the New York Film & Video Festival and the Sinking Creek Film Festival. In a development deal with KCET, using "Albert Whitlock: A Master of Illusion" as the pilot, I created and wrote a thirteen part "behind the scenes" series called "Made in Hollywood".
- (2018) One of my proudest creative moments ever was creating and producing the original "All Female Showrunners' Panel" for Wondercon 2018. Moderated by Kay Reindl, it featured Amy Berg, Sera Gamble, Gillian Horvath, Erin Maher, Kimberly Jesicka and Willow Polson. (Amy Berg corrected stated corrected, right at the top, "It's a Showrunners' Panel"). YouTube got so sparked and inspired by what they saw that they asked me to do it again for "YouTube presents...". I created, produced and curated the next incarnation, "YouTube presents...The All Female Showrunners' Panel", which was moderated by Felicia Day and featured Amy Berg, Sera Gamble, Gillian Horvath, Monica Owusu-Breen, Lauren LeFranc, Kimberly Jesicka and Willow Polson.
