Exclusive: Netflix is in negotiations for a green light to The Gentlemen, a series adaptation of the 2019 Guy Ritchie movie, sources said. Ritchie co-wrote the pilot script with Matthew Read, will direct the first two episodes and serve as an executive producer on the series, which Miramax TV is producing alongside Moonage Pictures in the UK.
A series pickup would make it a full circle for The Gentlemen, which started off as a TV series pitch before it became a feature. It also marks a rare foray into television for Ritchie, who created and co-wrote the 2000 Channel 4 series Stock, Lock…, based on his film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Greenblatt’s pursuit of Fellowes began before the latter became a red-hot TV creator in 2010 with the success of “Downton Abbey,” which forced Greenblatt to patiently keep the project that became “The Gilded Age” alive in development as he moved through jobs over the past 10 years as Showtime Entertainment president, NBC Entertainment chairman and WarnerMedia Entertainment chair. Today, Greenblatt is a busy producer who helped Fellowes finally realize his vision for exploring a pivotal moment in American history. The following is an excerpt from Greenblatt’s upcoming memoir “The Rockford Files: Epiphanies in Show Business.”

Jerusalem, Feb 16 (Ians) People previously infected with the novel coronavirus responded very strongly to one dose of the Pfizer vaccine, regardless of when they were infected and whether or not they had detectable antibodies against Covid-19 prior to receiving the vaccine, a new study suggests.
According to the researchers, the strong response to one dose of the vaccine among those previously infected regardless of the duration between infection and vaccination is good news.
"This finding can help countries make informed decisions regarding vaccine policy -- for instance, whether those previously infected should be vaccinated on priority and, if so, with how many doses," said researcher Michael Edelstein from the Bar-Ilan University.
"It also offers reassurance that not having detectable antibodies after being infected does not necessarily mean that protection following infection is lost," Edelstein added.
For the study, published in the journal Eurosurveillance, the research team included 514 participants. Seventeen of...
