Born 1903 in Blackburn, England, Perry Finnerman came from a family of
nine boys and four girls, and the family emigrated to America in the
1920s. In 1928 Finnerman got a job at Warner Brothers as an assistant
cameraman. He was soon promoted to camera operator, and in the 1950s
was promoted to director of photography. He worked on many television
series for Warner Brothers Television. His credits include
Colt .45 (1957),
Hawaiian Eye (1959),
77 Sunset Strip (1958),
Cheyenne (1955),
Bourbon Street Beat (1959),
Maverick (1957) and
Sugarfoot (1957). He also
photographed one season of
Adventures in Paradise (1959) at 20th Century-Fox. He passed away
while filming a "Maverick" episode in 1960.
