- At the age of 15, disguised with a false beard and with a fake ID and $15, William Forsche ran away from his Wisconsin home and hitchhiked to Hollywood. Forsche soon found work at Universal Studios Tour. It was there he met make-up artist David B. Miller who gave him insights to the business and a great deal of encouragement. At the age of 17, Forsche came home to Wisconsin to visit his family which led to work with Wisconsin director Bill Rebane. Forsche then went to New York and met with Dick Smith whom he had been corresponding with since he was 14. He provided fatherly advice, career encouragement and guidance. Forsche went back to Hollywood to continue his special effects make-up, and sculpting career. - In 2014 Forsche taught lifecasting for the Ultimate Creature Creator class.
- Forsche provided specialty life masks for "The Exorcist" attraction, which was a part of Universal Studios' "Hollywood Horror Nights" in 2016.
- 2016 saw Forsche recreate life masks of David Bowie for museums and high profile collectors; he had originally created life masks for David Bowie himself in 1988.
- In 2015 artist Keith Edmier premiered an exhibit called "Edison Impluvium" and Forsche provided 22 of the 50 life masks used in the exhibit, which featured life masks of actors and actresses, comedians, and musicians.
