From death by shark to fatal ingestion of air pellet, here's a run-down of the James Bond movies' grisliest deaths...
The James Bond franchise has entertained (most of) the whole family for generations, with one-liners like “shocking” and “I think he got the point” delivered while some poor soul is electrocuted or shot with a harpoon gun. But they were bad guys, so it was all okay.
However, regardless of how downplayed they might have been, we were shown some pretty disturbing ways to dispense with an evil henchman, the kind of thing that gave us nightmares when we were kids.
With work now underway on the latest latest Bond movie, Spectre, here's our look at the top 10 macabre ways 007 has dispatched evildoers in masterful fashion.
This feature contains spoilers for lots of James Bond films.
Goldfinger (1964)
Victim: Auric Goldfinger (Gert Frobe)
Scene: having defeated Goldfinger’s dastardly plan, Bond...

Celebrity Big Brother star Jasmine Lennard and her mum have failed their secret mission. Actress Marilyn Galsworthy entered the house earlier today and had to convince housemates she was a celebrity psychic called Shelley. Jasmine, who was evicted on Wednesday, fed lines to her mother through an earpiece as they delivered psychic predictions to the other housemates. The pair picked Coleen Nolan and Samantha Brick to potentially win immunity from the next set of nominations, but this won't be granted because Marilyn failed to convince the celebrities she was a psychic. "Originally I wanted to give [immunity] to Lorenzo, but I'm a bit disappointed he's fallen under Danica's spell," Jasmine said in the Diary (more)...

Tila Tequila's rival Jasmine Lennard has announced she is expecting her first child. The British model was once best friends with late heiress Casey Johnson, 30, who was recently found dead, but they fell out when Lennard accused Johnson of breaking into her house and stealing her clothes. Lennard wrote on Twitter: 'I am overjoyed and truly thrilled to announce the arrival of my first baby this summer!' Her mum, actress Marilyn Galsworthy, also confirmed the news that she is expecting a baby. Lennard was reported to have had a fling with Simon Cowell three years ago while he was dating partner Terri Seymour. Lennard recently engaged in a war of words with Johnson's fiancee...

A model is threatening to sue Tila Tequila after the reality TV star accused her of trying to "ruin" heiress Casey Johnson's life.
Lawyers for Jasmine Lennard have fired off a cease and desist letter to the late star's fiancee Tequila, demanding she remove a curse-laden rant on her blog which brands the British model "an ugly devil."
Johnson hit the headlines in November after she was arrested for allegedly robbing Lennard's Los Angeles home.
But, in the internet post, Tequila alleges Lennard was attempting to frame Johnson, writing, "Jazmine (sic) was supposedly the one who gave her (Johnson) the key to her place & told her to borrow whatever she wanted. Jazmine set her up on purpose, probably hoping that she would get millions off of Casey, but once she realised that Casey didn't have that money, Jazmine, this devil - an Ugly devil at that - got p**sed (angry). And as soon as my fiancee and I announced that we got engaged, this bi**h would not stop harassing us!"
But Lennard, whose mum is former Bond star Marilyn Galsworthy, wants the post taken down - and her attorneys have promised to take legal action against Tequila if she refuses to remove it.
Their letter reads: "Should you fail to comply with our client's stipulations, you will be exposed to extensive liability in damages and legal costs in this jurisdiction."
The felony grand theft charges stemming from Johnson's arrest were dropped when she was found dead at home on Monday.

Casey Johnson, the heiress who was arrested on Monday on charges of grand theft, has been threatened with a restraining order from the model she allegedly stole from.
The troubled 30 year old, whose family own the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire, was taken into custody after Los Angeles police searched her home and allegedly found items belonging to model Jasmine Lennard, including jewellery and designer clothing.
Lennard, who was once romantically linked to Simon Cowell, claims she had been trying to help Johnson deal with a substance abuse problem when the heiress became infatuated with her.
She says, "I tried to get her off drugs and alcohol. I tried to get her into a 12-step program. I tried to help take care of her daughter and gave her money. I am the only person who helped this girl. I believe she was obsessed with me and thinks in her mind we had some kind of affair. That is not the case. She breaks into my apartment, gets into my bed, has a shower in my bathroom, then takes everything."
And the brunette, the daughter of former Bond actress Marilyn Galsworthy, insists she will be taking legal action to ensure Johnson stays away from her.
She tells RadarOnline.com, "The first thing I'm doing this morning is getting a restraining order. I've had a hell of a lot of patience and compassion for this woman and she just hasn't treated me right. Casey is an evil girl. She's going to be full of vengeance and try to attack me in any way she can."
Johnson was released from jail in Van Nuys, California on Monday on $20,000 (£12,500) bail.
