Kenny Gamble was born on August 11, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a composer and producer, known for Moulin Rouge! (2001), Species (1995) and New Jack City (1991). He has been married to Faatimah since 1990. He was previously married to Dee Dee Sharp.
Co-chairman of the Congressional Housing Task Force.
Founder of Gamble Records, Neptune Records and Philadelphia
International Records. His two sons now run Philadelphia International
Records along with Leon Huff.
Co-founded the Philadelphia Music Alliance in 1988.
Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1995 with his
then-partner Leon Huff.
