David Lee Garver was a student at the University of Kansas when he received his first film credit in
Tim Burton's
Mars Attacks! (1996). Soon after, he moved to New York City and was cast in
Biohazardous (2001) which led to starring roles in
Bedford Springs (2002) and
Slumming (2005), for which he received a Best Actor nomination at the 2005 AOF Film Festival. Recent awards include Best Supporting Actor for
Division (2022) at the 2022 Lady Filmmakers Festival and Best Horror for
Gravedigger (2022) at
Kevin Smith's inaugural 2022 SModcastle Film Festival. Garver produced both films in addition to acting in them. In 2023 he appeared in several movies streaming on Tubi and LMN. He is also a musician and an audiobook narrator.
