The Gilmore Girls gang reunited in 2016 for the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The cast and crew returned to the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank to recreate Stars Hollow. Some of the sets were new and improved, including Luke’s Diner.

Scott Patterson described the new and improved Luke’s Diner on the Sept. 14 episode of his I Am All In Podcast. He was live in front of fans with Sean Gunn at Comic-Con and one asked about the Netflix revival. Here’s how they fixed Luke’s Diner.

Gilmore Girls famously had more dialogue than most other shows. They crammed it all into an hour (less with commercial breaks) by saying it so fast. Scott Patterson frequently mentions the page counts of scripts on his podcast, I Am All In, and credits star Lauren Graham with her ability to memorize pages in one pass. One time, Patterson admitted the cast would make a game of last minute memorization.

Olivia Hack was the guest on the Oct. 12 episode of I Am All In. After discussing her role as Yale roommate Tana Schrick in season 4 of Gilmore Girls, Hack asked Patterson how the cast was able to memorize each script for seven seasons.
Mind games the ‘Gilmore Girls’ cast played with the scripts
The nature of television is fast. On broadcast, they’re in production every week and trying to write new scripts to produce next week.

Laundry Room Guy was a rather obscure Gilmore Girls character. He eventually got the name William, but it was meeting Rory (Alexis Bledel) at Yale in her dorm laundry room that made Peter Klausner stand out. People remembered Laundry Room Guy long after Gilmore Girls Season 4, including when Klausner was getting married.

Klausner was a guest on Scott Patterson’s I Am All In podcast on Dec. 21 to talk about his Gilmore Girls episodes. They discussed Wlliam’s debate against Rory in the international club. Klausner also shared two fan encounters during his wedding festivities.

You only need to be on one episode of Gilmore Girls to make a lasting impression. Linda Gehringer knows that because she played Pennilyn Lott. Pennilyn was Richard Gilmore (Edward Hermann)’s fiance before Emily (Kelly Bishop). Lorelai calls Pennilyn her “almost mommy.” Given that connection, many Gilmore Girls cast members expected to see Pennilyn return.

Gehringer was a guest on Scott Patterson’s I Am All In podcast on Dec. 8 to discuss her single moment of being in the Gilmore Girls cast. Patterson asked if it was ever suggested Pennilyn return, and Gehringer said her co-stars certainly expected her to.
The ‘Gilmore Girls’ cast didn’t think Pennilyn Lott was a one and done character
Richard may have broken off his engagement to Pennilyn, but he didn’t cut her out of his life. Pennilyn and Richard met for an annual lunch, although...

By the time Rob Estes appeared on Gilmore Girls, he was already a veteran of Melrose Place. Estes was supposed to lead a Gilmore Girls spinoff with Milo Ventimiglia. Since the spinoff didn’t go forward, Estes’s two appearances on Gilmore Girls were the only signs of Jess (Ventimiglia)’s father, Jimmy (Estes), but fans still had stern words for Estes.

Well, it was only a matter of time before the ranch fell, but did anyone expect it to happen quite in this fashion, or so soon before the end of the season? Still, Jeremiah Otto’s legacy doesn’t go out with a whimper—resulting in one of the strongest episodes of the season, if not the entire show itself. A couple of minor points bog things down here or there, but overall, This Land Is Your Land vaults Fear The Walking Dead onto the same level as The Walking Dead. Check out this exclusive sneak peek look at "Ravenswood's" latest episode, titled "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" -- which we hope does not turn out to literally be true for Remy (Britne Oldford).
In the clip, Remy and her father meet with Dr. Russell (guest star Linda Gehringer), who tells the Beaumonts, "Remy is displaying an unusual combination of sleep symptoms. But I'm more concerned about what the stress is doing to her physically. ... Your mind's a busy place, always has been. You saw a psychologist for sleep-related issues when you were seven."
When Remy says that the medication Dr. Elmore prescribed at the time made the sleep problems go away, Russell then says, "I think that everything happening now can be traced back to that nightmare you had as a little girl."
That's interesting. What do you suppose "that nightmare" is? Was Remy dreaming about the pact and...

Returning for a third explosive season, FX’s razor-sharp series Justified is back with more gunfights, brawls, and rampant crime in Harlan, Kentucky. Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) may be a U.S. Marshal, but his life is cursed to be a crime-magnet. No matter what the situation or how many guns might be involved, Raylan walks straight in and astoundingly usually walks right back out. But in the second season finale, Raylan’s good luck ran out and he took a bullet in a shoot-out with Mags Bennett’s (Margo Martindale) crew. Also in that bloody finale, Raylan was not the only unlucky one as Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter) was shot point-blank by Mags’ son Dickie (Jeremy Davies), and Raylan’s aunt Helen (Linda Gehringer) was caught in the cross-fire as well. Crime is a bit incestuous with the Bennetts, Crowders, Givens and other clans looking to preserve their way...

We’re only a few weeks away from the Season 3 premiere of Justified and we’re excited to with all of those cool promos running on FX and Fox. Season 2 took the show to new heights and the show was recognized at this year’s Emmys. Like last season, we’re going to put our wish list of things we’d like to see more of and what would hurt to see more of. Here’s a link to last season’s list, which I believe were answered quite sufficiently except for Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) is still living in that motel. Let’s see how we do for season 3, shall we?
Do… Keep giving significance to Helen’s death.
Rest her soul, Raylan’s Aunt Helen (Linda Gehringer) was a one-of-a-kind. I always thought she was one of the more underrated characters in Justified–one I secretly rooted for despite...

In January, make sure your guns are loaded, your cowboy hat is fitted, and your spy plane is fueled for take off because FX has set the dates for the return of Justified and Archer and the premiere of their new animated show Unsupervised. Justified will begin its third season on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10 Pm Et/Pt. Some of the of the events to look forward to include what happens now that the power of the Bennett Clan is gone and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) back in the saddle. Will he return as a thorn in U.S. Marshal Raylan Given’s (Tim Olyphant) side or will he be an ally. Those TV Spots have been awfully vague and intentionally obscure. Also will Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter) find a new purpose at Boyd’s side, or will she be affected by the death and the advice of Helen Givens (Linda Gehringer...

Justified Reckoning Tim Olyphant Jeremy Davies
Tears and sorrow laid heavy on the hearts of “The Reckoning,” the penultimate episode of Justified’s spectacular second season. There was no finer moment in the second season of Justified than in last night’s episode as Raylan (Tim Olyphant) circled Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies), threatening to kill him because that’s what their families do and have done for over 100 years. Once again Raylan stood above Dickie as he did when he took a baseball bat to Dickie’s knee as a teenager, crippling him for life. This time it wasn’t his knee he was aiming at. His gun was pointed at his Dickie’s skull and as he groveled for his life (excellently played by Davies), we got a rare glimpse into the complex character of Raylan, his relationship with Helen (Linda Gehringer), and how she saved his life and...

Dickie. Dickie. Dicke.
What else more is to say but “Dickie” Actually I just like typing out “Dickie.” I think my opportunities to do so are dwindling. Those damn Bennett kids just never listen to their momma. Coover might’ve still been alive if he did. As for Dickie (Jeremy Davies), he didn’t just step over the boundaries set up by Mags (Margo Martindale), he threw up all over them. She set him up good too, don’t retaliate against the Givens and honor the lid on the feud, and stick to the weed business. Nothing more. Nothing less. In two episodes Dicke managed to drag his gimpy leg all over those lines drawn in the sand.
Pride is one of those sins that will get you in trouble real fast. Pissing Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) wasn’t enough, now he’s going to have Arlo (Raymond Berry) and...

If you’re not upset that Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins didn’t get Emmy nominations, then you haven’t watched FX’s Justified. Today is your last day to view the season finale on Hulu. We’ve embedded it in full below, after a clip of the must-watch end shootout. The season finale was a spectacularly satisfying payoff for anyone who watched the 12 episodes that preceded it. But if you’re a newbie, we’ve got your cheat sheet after the jump as well. It’s not too late to enjoy one of the TV season’s best hours.

If you’ve been watching FX’s Justified, chances are you share my opinion that tonight’s episode (10 p.m. Et, with repeats at 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.) looks like the Timothy Olyphant series’ finest hour to date. If you haven’t tuned in, but suddenly find an opening in your TV schedule, here’s some basic info. so you can start to enjoy it like the rest of us:
• Olyphant is Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, a Stetson-wearing gunslinger recently reassigned back to his native Kentucky.
• He’s got an ex-wife, Winona (Natalie Zea), who left him for a realtor,...
