- (May 24, 2005 - June 4, 2005) Performed cabaret act "No Standards" with mother Annette O'Toole and stepfather Michael McKean at the Feinstein's at the Regency nightclub in New York City, New York, USA. The threesome were booked for their engagement after a Feinstein's representative saw them do their act at a 2004 Planned Parenthood benefit in New York City during the Republican convention.

- Nell and Annette O'Toole, her mother, were two of the special guests for "Concert For A Cause" at the Avalon Hollywood nightclub on August 27, 2007. The event raised funds for the International Myeloma Foundation. Nell And Annette performed with Michael McKean, Annette's husband, as well as other performers during the show. McKean was one of the headliners.

- August 30th and August 31st of 2007: Did two readings of "My Name is Rachel Corrie," a controversial play about the Israel/Palestine conflict at an art gallery in Ashland, Oregon.
- June, 2008: Played a supporting role in "Family Planning," a new play about a late-thirties couple arguing about whether or not to have a baby. The work was performed in private homes in the Los Angeles area.
- March 10 - April 10, 2009: Played the role of Catherine in a production of Larry Shue's "The Foreigner" at the Playhouse at the Park in Cincinnati.
- April 26, 2009: Did a interpretive dance to the tune of Big Bottom during the Los Angeles stop of "Unwigged & Unplugged" with Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and stepfather Michael McKean. She has done her performance in other cities on the tour.
- February 21-October 31 2010: Plays the role of Jane in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's production of "Pride And Prejudice."
- November 27-December 27 2009: Is one of the cast members in the Milwaukee's Repertory Theatre's production of "A Christmas Carol." Update: Performed the role of Catherine in the same production in 2010.
- (2010) Plays the role of Lady Mortimer in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's production of Henry IV: Part One. She appears in part two of the play in 2011.
- She performed in a production of "The Imaginary Invalid" by Moliere as part of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2011.
- (January 2 to February 3, 2007) She played Mary and Flowers in Stephen Massicotte's play, "Mary's Wedding," in a Brown-Forman Series production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky with Will Rogers (Charlie) in the cast. Marc Masterson was director.
- (2003) She acted in David Edgar's plays, "Continental Divide: Mothers Against and Daughters of the Revolution," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Berkeley (California) Repertory Theatre production in a world premiere production at the Angus Bowmer Theatre (Daughters) and New Theatre (Mothers) in Ashland, Oregon with Robynn Rodriguez, Christine Williams, Michael Elich and Bill Geisslinger in the cast. Tony Taccone was director. The production performed at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley, California; Birmingham Repertory Theatre in Birmingham, England; Barbican Theatre in London, England and La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, California. Libby Appel was artistic director.
- (2004) She acted in William Shakespeare's play, "King Lear," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the Elizabethan Stage Theatre in Ashland, Oregon with Julie Oda (Cordelia) and Ken Albers (Lear) in the cast. Jimmy Edmondson was director. Libby Appel was artistic director.
- (2006) She played Perditia in William Shakespeare's play, "The Winter's Tale," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the Angus Bowmer Theatre in Ashland, Oregon with Geoffrey Blaisdell (Shepherd) and Miriam Laube (Hermione); in the cast. Penny Metropulos was director. Libby Appel was artistic director.
- (2006) She acted in William Inge's play, "Bus Stop," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the New Theatre in Ashland, Oregon with Danforth Comins (Bo) in the cast. Libby Appel was director and artistic director.
- (2007) She played Miranda in William Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the Elizabethan Stage Theatre in Ashland, Oregon with John Tufts (Ferdinand); Derek Weeden (Prospero); Dan Donohue (Caliban) in the cast. Libby Appel was final season as artistic director.
- (2013) She played Kate in William Shakespeare's play, "The Taming of the Shrew," in an Oregon Shakespeare Festival production at the Angus Bowmer Theatre in Ashland, Oregon with David Kelly (Gremio) in the cast. Bill Rauch was artistic director.
