- Alfred Gerasch was born on August 17, 1877 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor and writer, known for Hundert Tage (1935), Königin Luise, 2. Teil (1928) and Marschall Vorwärts (1932). He died on August 12, 1955 in Vienna, Austria.
- Character actor, on stage from 1896. As youthful romantic leads, ensemble member of the Vienna Burgtheater from 1907. Came to films relatively late (aged 40), often cast as historical personae, senior officers or aristocrats.
