In the past 24 hours or so, you’ve probably come across various teasers for one of Marvel Comics’ first major storylines to kickoff in 2019. After all, how can your head not turn when it appears as though the Fantastic Four’s origin will be retconned? Furthermore, who could possibly be powerful enough to accomplish that, bring back Spider-Man after Spider-Man No More, discover Captain America on ice before the Avengers, and save Jean Grey from the Dark Phoenix Saga?
Well, the House of Ideas didn’t waste much time in revealing the answer, as they’ve now officially announced Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History, a six-issue miniseries set to launch in the spring. What’s more is that the synopsis provided also reveals who’s writing the tale:
This spring, comedian and The League star Paul Scheer re-teams with Far Cry writer Nick Giovannetti for Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys...

This review is based off a volume that collects Spider-Man/Deadpool #6-7, 11-12 and 1.Mu.
As enjoyable as books chronicling the adventures of the Justice League or Avengers may be, they often don’t get to explore the interpersonal relationships shared between specific superheroes as often as we’d like. But, when you pare it down to two, you’re given a much different kind of team-up comic. Personally, I enjoy seeing the best buddy dynamic offered whenever Batman and Superman join forces or, likewise, whenever the Flash and Green Lantern go back to back. On the other hand, I also get a kick out of the veritable powder keg that is Daredevil and Punisher.
The focus of today’s review, though, Spider-Man/Deadpool, may be in a class of its own. You’ve got a do-gooder in Peter Parker and a mercenary in Wade Wilson, so, logically, they shouldn’t get along.

Deadpool is the raunchiest and most experimental character in the Marvel Universe. So what does that mean when he teams up with Marvel's flagship hero Spider-Man?
Actor and comedian Paul Scheer figured that out thanks to his work on Deadpool/Spider-Man No. 12, which he wrote with Nick Giovannetti and features art from Todd Nauck. (It hit stores today.)
The writing team, whose supervillain animated comedy Bad Guys aired on Comedy Central, has recently been making forays into comics with issues of Deadpool and Guardians Team-Up. Their latest comic shows the Avengers throwing their holiday party — and predictably Deadpool's Secret Santa gift-giving doesn't go so...

Add up all the Deadpool series (creatively), and April’s Deadpool #45 marks Wade Wilson’s landmark 250th issue! How is he celebrating? He’s dying! The end of the line comes for all, even one such as Deadpool, but he’s not gone yet! Say your condolences with this new look at the colossal-sized series finale.
First, Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn and Mike Hawthorne serve up a 30-page main story, as the villainous Ultimatum finally makes their move. They’re coming for Deadpool – every last one of them! It’s going to be a bloodbath, but Wade’s going to go down swinging.
Then – Gerry, Brian and Scott Koblish bring you a long lost, full length Deadpool tale. Remember when Wade got a hold of the Infinity Gauntlet? No? Don’t worry – that’s what the story is for. And yes, you should be worried Wade Wilson is in possession of nigh-infinite cosmic power.

That’s right – if you add together all the Deadpool series (creatively), April’s Deadpool #45 marks Wade Wilson’s landmark 250th issue! How will he be celebrating? Death! No, really. Wade’s about to reach the end of the line, but he’s not gone yet. Prepare for a colossal-sized series finale the likes of which you’ve never seen before as Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn and more bid the Merc With a Mouth adieu, and explore the legacy he leaves behind.

Have you ever wanted to see the Merc With a Mouth throw down with a team of cybernetic, anthropomorphic animals? Well you’ve come to the right place because the gone (and also forgotten) 90s team of Brute Force makes their triumphant return to the Marvel fold in September’s Deadpool Bi-Annual #1 – written by Paul Scheer (star of The League & Ntsf:sd:suv) and Nick Giovannetti (Aliens vs. Parker) with art by Salva Espin (Deadpool vs. Carnage)
Deadpool is going to come face-to-snout with the some of the toughest and most absurd enemies he’s ever faced! When the Merc With a Mouth is hired by WaterWorld to protect their theme park from environmental activists, he had no idea that meant a heavily armed team of armored-up talking animals! A mechanized kangaroo with a machine gun is just the beginning! Don’t miss it when Scheer & Giovannetti take the Merc With a...
