Honorable Mention: Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz
Lucille Ball was a rising star under contract to Rko Studios when she was cast as the female lead in the film version of the Broadway smash Too Many Girls. Prior to the start of filming she was introduced to the young Cuban singer who had taken New York City by storm, Desi Arnaz. Stories from several sources in that Rko office said that sparks flew when they locked eyes on each other.

Next week, CBS' supernatural Friday night shows will celebrate the Halloween the way they know it. "Ghost Whisperer" deals with a headless horse rider while "Medium" gives the horror of the living deads. Both will air on the Halloween's eve, October 31 starting at 8/7c.
In "Head Over Heels", the Headless Horseman from the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is haunting Melinda. And when the legendary book mysteriously shows up at Aiden's school Melinda becomes worried for Aiden's safety.
In "Bite Me", Allison has vivid nightmares that insert her into scenes from the classic horror film "Night of the Living Dead", which leave her with unexplained cuts and bite marks and possible clues that could lead her to a funeral director's murderer.
Previously while attending TV Critics Association press tour, Executive Producer Glen Gordon Caron said that the right to adapt horror classic "Night of the Living Dead" as one of the episodes had been acquired.

CBS is going full throttle in promoting its new series "Medium" which was snatched this summer from NBC. The latest promo shows the more creepy and darker side of having a gift to foresee the future, putting Alison in situations which are beyond her control. Executive Producer Glen Gordon Caron said Allison will deal with the aftermath of her health problems and how it changes her gift.
In the season premiere, Allison is slowly, sporadically regaining both her physical abilities and her psychic talents. Unfortunately, she becomes more confused then enlightened when her "gift" re-emerges as a strange form of deja-vu, that hinders rather than helps her in her investigation of newscaster Sophie Cullen's alleged stalker, Peter Winant.
The show is fittingly paired with another supernatural show, "Ghost Whisperer", on Fridays starting September 25.
