- She filed a $15,000 lawsuit (plus interest) against producers Gilbert M. 'Broncho Billy' Anderson and L. Lawrence Weber for Breach of Contract in 1917. She was awarded $20,270 in 1921.
- English-born star of musical comedy and revue, on Broadway from 1906. Victor Herbert composed an opera, 'The Enchantress', for her in 1911. She also appeared in early silent movies filmed at Ft. Lee, New Jersey. In 1917, she was injured by an exploding smoke bomb during the filming of a battle scene for 'No Man's Land'.
