Melissa Joan Hart told fans of her ’90s Nickelodeon show “Clarissa Explains It All” is no longer happening, People reports.
Hart was attending ’90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday and sitting in on the panel for “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” her other ’90s series, when she was asked about the status of the “Clarissa” reboot, which was first reported in 2018.
“We tried that, actually. Nickelodeon got a new president, and they kind of squashed the whole thing,” Hart said of the reboot, according to People, and referring to Bryan Robbins, who took over as president of the cable network for kids from Cyma Zarghami in 2018. “So it was actually in the works and, yeah, it just sort of disappeared. It took like a year to do the contracts, which was the hardest part, and then it just kind of fizzled out. So I don’t think [it will happen].”

David Foster and Katherine McPhee at Hot Pink Party 2019
This year’s gala commemorated the incredible impact Bcrf investigators have made on research since the organization’s founding in 1993. Bcrf has been deeply involved in every major breakthrough in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship; since the establishment of Bcrf 25 years ago, breast cancer mortalities in the U.S. have declined by nearly 40 percent. As the top breast cancer charity in the U.S., Bcrf raises more money for metastatic research – and breast cancer research in general–than any other private funder in the world.

Fall is officially in the air school is in full session. We recently went back to school at Broadway Sessions, inviting some Broadway favorites to perform the roles they sang in their high school musicals. And maybe a song or 2 they didn't get to, because fill in the blank got the part over them. The revenge was sweet, the stories hysterical and the voices unreal. Enjoy Wicked's Jenna Leigh Green, Phantom's Jeremy Stolle, Book of Mormon's Matthew Marks, Les Miserables Beth Kirkpatrick, Beautiful's Mike Longo and more.
