After more than two decades on air, Seth MacFarlane’s adult animated series “Family Guy” continues to — as its characters sing in its theme song — make us laugh and cry.
Lucky there was a man to give the world the iconic yet majorly dysfunctional animated family that is Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and Brian Griffin. MacFarlane created the show, which made its debut on Jan. 31, 1999, after his days working as an animator and writer at Hanna-Barbara, known as Cartoon Network today.
And although it’s never taken home the most elite Emmy award in animation, Outstanding Comedy Series or Outstanding Animated Program, the show remains a fan-favorite 21 seasons in.
The most recent season recently wrapped up its run on Fox, but where can you stream old episodes of “Family Guy?” And where will new ones be streaming when the show returns in the fall? All your “Family Guy” questions answered below.

I’m pretty sure Warner Bros. just won’t stop with their insane ambition. And you know what? That’s a good thing. A movie can be ambitious, but that doesn’t mean the execution can work out. However, I do believe in reaching for the stars. Now if you want to take the contradictory advice of Brian Griffin and not reach for the stars because there would be no one left on Earth, then I would have to protest. Have the go big or go home mentality. These big movie studios are getting more comfortable with their ambitions and I think it’s a

Mark Hamill recently took to Facebook to share some rare photos that were taken during a Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi photoshoot. I have never seen any of these photos before and as you'll see, they are absolutely stunning! The image above isn't new, but I just love that shot of Leia. The other photos that you see below were so wonderfully shot by Brian Griffin Photography. I would love to have prints of these! Amy Poehler and Tina Fey made history Thursday morning. The pals were nominated in the Guest Actress in a Comedy Emmy category for hosting “Saturday Night Live.”
That’s not unusual — “SNL” hosts are nominated for Emmys all the time. But here’s what’s unique: Poehler and Fey were nominated as a single, combined entity. Earlier this year, the TV Academy accepted their joint submission, and their names appeared together on nomination ballots.

That’s never happened in an acting category before because, well, a person is generally one person. But this was a unique circumstance: “SNL” guest hosts are eligible for guest star Emmys – but usually even comedy teams are nominated separately. (For example, Keegan-Michael Key is nominated this year for “Key & Peele” in the supporting comedy actor category, but Jordan Peele is not.

Nerdly had a moment to correspond with David Zuckerman, the mastermind behind the U.S adaptation of FX’s surprisingly sweet and often endearingly crass Wilfred. It ended it’s four season, forty-nine episode run on Wednesday with a touching, poignant tear-inducing hourlong episode. I watched it and felt immediately comfortable and happy with the ending. I was happy that the series ended precisely correct for what the writers had envisioned for the entirety of the run. There were moments that fulfilled everything that the show promised and left no strings lingering.
It ultimately ended as a sobering account of someone’s mental illness. There wasn’t some grand mytholgical ending where Wilfred was a mischevious god named Krungel or Matdamon. Nope. But it didn’t need that. It offered rational answers for everything and even gave us answers to why Wilfred looks the way he does, or who Bruce is.

Once again, the day is saved thanks to the Powerpuff Girls — though this time around, things are a little different. More than eight years after the Craig McCracken series flew off into the sunset, The Powerpuff Girls returned Jan. 20 with an all-new, half-hour special, pitting the titular bug-eyed heroines against their arch nemesis in a heated battle of brains, brawn and sick dance moves.

You won’t have to look far to find someone who can quote their favourite moment from the ubiquitous animated sitcom, Family Guy. The show has been going strong since it first aired nearly 15 years ago (A decade and a half! Let that sink in for a second…)
While some may argue that the quality of the show has declined significantly over the years, it still draws in millions of viewers. Figures have dropped admittedly, but MacFarlane and crew are still pushing forward, perhaps unheeded in their attempt to literally use up every last morsel of the Family Guy teat.
Along the way there have been a number of changes to the main characters. Meg Griffin was turned into a human punching bag, Stewie Griffin came more into the limelight with his pseudo-pansexual antics, and Brian became an insufferable douche-tractor.
Which leads me neatly to the four reasons Brian Griffin...

Many families felt like they’d lost a loved one this past Thanksgiving when ‘Family Guy’ killed (then promptly revived) the Griffin family’s beloved canine, Brian. The show’s creator Seth MacFarlane broke his silence at Fox’s Television Critics Association press tour on Jan. 13, letting us all know that the outrage didn’t go unnoticed.
When Family Guy killed Brian Griffin on Nov. 24, Seth MacFarlane and the rest of the show’s crew were bombarded with calls, tweets, emails, and singing telegrams that all basically expressed one emotion — outrage. We all know about the “death” of Brian Griffin, but best to let sleeping dogs…umm…never mind! To follow up on his first outing in the movie directors chair, Seth MacFarlane is currently slaving away on A Million Ways To Die In The West, writing, directing And acting. The movie follows a farmer (MacFarlane) who gets dumped by his girlfriend and seeks the help of a gunslingers wife to help him win back said woman. Theres a decent cast here including Neil Patrick Harris, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson and Amanda Seyfried. The story sound bland enough, but it should be anything but bland with MacFarlane. I’d expect a trailer over the next few weeks considering the movie is released on May 30th in the USA and June 6 in Ireland & UK...

Ah, the fanboy. Has there ever been a more fitting term for a subculture of human beings? The word “fanboy” emphasises both the intense dedication and the pettiness associated with such types in one handy collection of letters. For most people, it’s seen as something of a derogatory term – one they presumably brandish to describe spotty teens huddled over their computers in the clawing darkness of their rooms (which they have taken to calling the “Batcave,” of course).
Fanboys, as we know, are renowned for being incredibly easy to rile, and when it comes to the movies, 2013 has been a seriously good year for providing said fanboys with all the ammunition they need to go on a wild rant or two (or ten). So here we’ve gathered up what we feel were the 10 most controversial movie moments of the year – those that really got the fanboys in a fluster.

After complaints sent Twitter into a virtual meltdown and a petition clocked up 120,000 signatures, Brian Griffin, the loved dog on Family Guy, is back from the grave.
Show writers had earlier made the incredible decision to kill off the anthropomorphic animal, who was run over by an out of control car in November’s season 12 episode ‘Life of Brian’.
Fans were left stunned and rallied to get the alcoholic author reinstated on the animation, and eventually got their wish when Stewie pulled off a time-travelling trick in last week’s ‘Christmas Guy’ episode that saw the toddler go back in time to the moment just before Brian gets hit by the car, and save the life of his best pal by pushing him out of harm’s way.

Okay, this is pretty great. Jimmy nailed most of his sketches as host of the Dec. 21 episode of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ but his greatest moment may have come when he impersonated Harry, with the hair, the tight suit, and the shy demeanor. Watch the clip below!

The best fake morning talk show has returned! ‘Saturday Night Live’ brought back ‘Waking Up With Kimye’ for their Dec. 21 episode, and with perfect imitations and even a ‘Bound 2′ spoof, it may have been even funnier than the original. Watch the clip below!
The Saturday Night Live skit “Waking Up With Kimye” got such a good response — though not from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West – when it first aired on Nov. 16, that the show decided to trot it out once again on Dec. 21. And the comedy show may have outdone themselves with the sequel.
‘SNL’ Mocks Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Again
Jay Pharaoh and Nasim Pedrad‘s spot-on impressions of the tabloid favorites continued to be the anchor of the skit, which once again made fun of Kim’s level of intelligence and Kanye’s desperate and controlling attempts to make the world believe his fiancee is a legitimate artist.

Winter is already here, which means tons of crappy North-Of-The-Wall weather, but also brand new footage from Season 4 of ‘Game of Thrones!’ HBO gave all of us non-Westerosi folks an early Holiday gift in the form of the network’s year-end trailer, which offers a sneak peek at a sure to be dynamic Season 4.
Spoiler alert, folks: Season 3 of Game of Thrones ended with a bang. Multiple Starks are dead, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) has a full-blown army and Joffrey (Jack Gleeson)… well, not much has changed there. He’s still an ass. But HBO’s first-look trailer offers a tantalizing peek at what’s to come — which includes yet another royal wedding. Will this one go better than the last? Check out the video below!

Brian Griffin's Family Guy Return Heralded and Dissed By Fans—What Does Seth MacFarlane Have to Say?
It was a Christmas miracle on Family Guy: Brian Griffin rose from the dead. Well, sort of. Thanks to Stewie and his time traveling ways, Brian Griffin never died. Here's what happened: The youngest Griffin ran into a version of himself who had traveled into the future before Brian was hit by a car. He distracted him with the help of the Griffin's new dog, Vinny, and went back in time to warn Brian. But because he did that, his timeline never existed and future Stewie ceased to exist. Complicated? Sort of, but Brian's back! Seth MacFarlane, the show's creator and the voice of Peter/Stewie/Brian, took to Twitter after the episode aired. "And thus endeth our warm, fuzzy holiday...

"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane has obviously enjoyed all the outcry over the seeming death of beloved dog character Brian Griffin.
Despite being killed off three weeks ago in a car accident, Brian returned last night in the show's Christmas episode thanks to a bit of time travel trickery which saw the alternate Brian-less timeline erased.
MacFarlane tweeted: "And thus endeth our warm, fuzzy holiday lesson: Never take those you love for granted, for they can be gone in a flash. I mean, you didn't really think we'd kill off Brian, did you? Jesus, we'd have to be f---ing high. Oh and hey… thanks for caring so much about the canine Griffin. He is overcome with gratitude."
Ultimately only one fully Brian-less episode, last week's "Into Harmony's Way," ended up airing. Despite all the 'death and resurrection' of Brian being planned and crafted months ago, and despite most fans expecting this reversal,...

Shortly after Brian’s Dec. 15 return, the ‘Family Guy’ creator finally addressed his temporary passing on Twitter.
When Brian Griffin was killed on the Nov. 24 episode of Family Guy, viewers were understandably outraged, but the most surprising part of the ordeal was creator Seth MacFarlane‘s refusal to comment on his death. Seth finally broke his silence Dec. 15, immediately after the Griffin’s family pet was brought back to life, explaining why he decided to put fans — and Brian — through hell.

Jesus Christ ain't got nothing on Brian the dog ... as "Family Guy" brought him back from the dead on last night's episode -- 3 weeks after he was left for roadkill. Here's how Brian Griffin was resurrected -- Stewie cries to a mall Santa that he wants his best friend back -- and then through a wrinkle in the time-space continuum ... steals his broken time machine from another version of himself ... but before it was broken.

Three weeks ago, Family Guy shocked fans by killing off one of the show’s most-beloved figures: Brian Griffin, the erudite dog/liberal caricature who’s one of several characters voiced by series creator Seth MacFarlane. As it turns out, however, all that outrage was misplaced — because as of last night, Brian’s back. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good psych!

Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you don’t want to know whether or not Brian returned! (Not that you’d be reading this if you didn’t want to know…)

After his death shocked Family Guy fans worldwide late last month, it looks as though anthropomorphic dog Brian Griffin is set to rise from the grave.
Viewers were horrified when the alcoholic animal was ran over and killed by an out-of-control car in ‘Life of Brian’ on November 24th, and a backlash immediately commenced, with Twitter going into a virtual meltdown and petitions being launched in an effort to bring Brian back from the dead.
120,000 people signed the aforementioned petition before it was closed down while ‘tribute groups‘ on Facebook have amassed up to 87,000 ‘Likes’.
And now, it looks like the likable author is about to be written back into the show, in the up-coming episode Christmas Guy, which will air for Us audiences on December 15.

Wipe your tears, ‘Family Guy’ fans! New evidence suggests we’ll be seeing Brian again in a matter of weeks.
Anyone up for a Christmas miracle? Just weeks after the controversial death of Family Guy‘s Brian Griffin, it sounds like we might be seeing America’s favorite atheist pooch again really soon! Fueling speculation that Brian’s passing was merely a publicity stunt, the official description for the Dec. 15 episode — cryptic as it may be — strongly suggests that Brian (Seth MacFarlane) will be returning to the land of the living.
On the Christmas episode, “Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas,” according to the official description from Fox. And, as pointed out by Entertainment Weekly, the network lists Brian as a character on the episode.
