"I auditioned for a play here in New York a few years ago and got offered the part I went out for. The character was on stage the entire show and was in every scene, but there was one catch: He had no lines. I was reluctant to take the part, but I said yes. An agent from one of the top agencies in New York came to see the show and was so impressed with my performance that he called me in for an interview. I freelanced with them for about six months and eventually signed with them."-- Eddie Cruz, Manhattan"I was referred to my agent. But really, that's only how I got a meeting.
