Upon learning of sexual assault and rape allegations made against the Call My By Your Name star by a former partner, Casey exclusively told E! Courtney Vucekovich, one of the Armie Hammer accusers who shared her story in House of Hammer, is speaking out to clarify a photo used in the Discovery+ docuseries that has come under question.
In the three-part series, which released on Friday, Vucekovich spoke of a months-long relationship with the Call Me By Your Name actor that she says left her traumatized and in a rehab facility. At one point, she shared a note left by Hammer for her at her apartment that read, “I thought this would be a cute note and it just says, ‘I’m going to bite the fuck out of you,'” she explains.
A bite-mark photo was shown while Vucekovich described alleged injuries sustained at the hands of Hammer, who has faced allegations of abuse and cannibalism. Some viewers claimed on social media that the image appeared to be of a bite-mark tattoo.

“House of Hammer,” a new Discovery+ docuseries about the sexual abuse allegations against Armie Hammer, is making a change following its release, removing an image of an alleged bite mark that one of the actor’s exes believed to be a photo of her own body. Turns out, the image in question appears to be a bite mark tattoo from Pinterest.
In “House of Hammer,” Courtney Vucekovich — one of Hammer’s former partners, who has accused him of improper sexual behavior — discusses the love-bombing, coercion and abuse she alleges to have endured during her relationship with the actor. In an on-camera interview, she says the actor convinced her into Bdsm situations that did not make her feel safe, including rope bondage and biting.

There’s a pervasive question repeatedly asked through “House of Hammer”: How did Hollywood’s Golden Boy seemingly turn into a pariah overnight?
Unfortunately, this three-part Discovery+ docuseries has little new to say on its subject — or the themes of power and abuse — because we’ve seen this narrative play out many times before. Hell, even just this week actor Shia Labeouf, accused of abusive behavior by an ex-lover, embarked on a redemption tour in the hopes of reshaping his own narrative. Bad behavior from Hollywood’s It boys didn’t start or end with the “Call Me By Your Name” star.
Then again, “House of Hammer” is about a generational legacy all its own. When the actor came to prominence in 2010 with the release of David Fincher’s “The Social Network,” much was made about his connection to Los Angeles’ prominent Hammer family. As this project will remind you continuously,...

Last year, actor Armie Hammer faced several accusations of violent sexual assault, stemming from unverified screengrabs of text messages purportedly sent by the actor to his mistresses, and from an account by a woman who called herself “Effie.” With depictions of extreme cannibalism and bondage fetish scenarios, the texts and Effie’s account went viral, leading to some of Hammer’s exes coming forward to allege nonconsensual behavior on the part of the Oscar-nominated actor.

On the surface, House of Hammer could be about any number of subjects. Perhaps the legendary British horror production company Hammer. Or maybe the house Mc Hammer had to sell after filing for bankruptcy. Ok, we had to open with some lightheartedness because things are about to get pretty dark.
Now that it is available, details are coming out from House of Hammer, Discovery+’s three-episode miniseries detailing not only Armie Hammer’s troubles, but his great-grandfather, oil magnate Armand Hammer. Armie has allegations of abuse, rape and cannibalism against him, while Armand is depicted as abusive, manipulative and a liar, to say the least. Oh, and it seems Armie’s grandfather, Julian, was a bit of a sicko, too, as he was a drunk who once offered his son a million dollars for his girlfriend. So, think about that next time you’re worried about your seat at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

It almost feels too early for a documentary series about the abuse allegations against Armie Hammer. If you leave out the fact that much of the scandal takes place via texts and Instagram DMs, it feels like the kind of story we might learn decades later, perhaps in a harrowing season of Karina Longworth’s “You Must Remember This” podcast. A rich and handsome movie star with a dark personal life? That’s most certainly not a new concept. Plus, there’s no ending yet. Despite many public accounts of his treatment of romantic partners, including accusations of rape, Armie Hammer is just selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands, biding his time until an inevitable comeback attempt.
But the point of “House of Hammer,” the new docuseries on Discovery+, is that this scandal goes back further than most people might realize. The Hammer family is made up of a long...

An explosive new documentary explores allegations surrounding Armie Hammer, as well as the Hammer family history at large.
Released on Discovery+ on Friday (2 September), House of Hammer is a three-part examination of the alleged abuses of the actor, which then delves into the reported wrongdoings of Armand Hammer, the actor’s grandfather.
In 2021, a woman identified as Effie publicly accused the Call Me By Your Name star of raping and abusing her, a claim he denies. Since then, others have alleged sexual misconduct against the actor, two of whom appear on camera in the documentary series.
Hammer has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.
Directors Elli Hakami and Julian P. Hobbs use the allegations lodged against Hammer as a jumping-off point to explore all facets of his famous family.

In March 2021, a woman accused the actor of sexual assault and of banging her head against a wall in 2017. The actor’s lawyer denied the accusations, saying all of Hammer’s sexual encounters were “completely consensual.”
The trailer features two women who said they were involved with the actor. A lawyer for Hammer didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment about the allegations in the trailer.

Armie Hammer, the embattled actor who was accused of sexual abuse in early 2021, is the focus of a forthcoming Discovery+ docuseries, which also delves into his family history.
The three-part series, “House of Hammer,” investigates accusations against Hammer — which he has emphatically and repeatedly denied through lawyers — including messages that he allegedly sent to women about his cannibalistic fantasies and sexual fetishes, which his accusers say were abusive.
An explosive trailer, released on Wednesday by Discovery, includes two of Hammer’s alleged victims giving on-camera interviews and sharing screenshots of messages and audio of voice memos they claim to have received from the actor.
“I have a fantasy about having someone prove their love and devotion and tying them up in a public place at night and making their body free use,” one alleged message from Hammer says.
Hammer is also alleged to have said in a voice memo, which is played in the trailer,...

After controversial allegations of cannibalism, sexual assault, and psychological and emotional abuse, Armie Hammer’s life and career was upended. While the “Social Network” star currently is believed to have relocated from Los Angeles to work in the Cayman Islands as a realtor, his story is still being told in Hollywood.
Discovery+ docuseries “House of Hammer” peels back the never-ending layers of horror behind the Hammer empire, generations before Armie came into the spotlight. “House of Hammer” premieres September 2 on Discovery+.
“The accusations of rape and abuse brought against Armie Hammer in the last few years are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Hammer family,” Jason Sarlanis, Discovery+ president of crime and investigative content, teased. “With ‘House of Hammer,’ we witness truly disturbing details and sinister secrets that money and power couldn’t hide forever.”
