- Bernice Hansen was born on July 11, 1897 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was an actress, known for Andy Panda Goes Fishing (1940), Baby Checkers (1940) and Two Little Lambs (1935). She died on April 16, 1981 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Her real name was Berneice Edna Hansell and she was the daughter of an English-born jeweller who fell on hard times during the Great Depression and ended up as an elevator operator. She worked in the film industry primarily as a seamstress/dressmaker, doubling up as a voice actress whenever required. Her high-pitched tones sounded peculiarly as if they were emanating from a child -- rather than a woman well into her thirties. For Disney, she provided the squeak for Mickey Mouse. For Warner Brothers, she voiced Kitty the Kitten. Her career was effectively over by the mid-40's.
