- During his second season with the Golden State Warriors, Hardaway went to the NBA Playoffs for the first time in his career. The 7th seeded Warriors were able to defeat the 2nd seeded San Antonio Spurs in 4 games. The Warriors were able to advance to the second round and face the 3rd seeded Los Angeles Lakers where they were eventually defeated in 5 games.
