London, Jan ary 20: A New York-based artist and fashion designer have come up with the perfect fit for those who like to foil government voyeurs with clothing that blocks thermal radiation from the infrared scanners drones use.
The anti-surveillance 'Stealth Wear' hoodies, burqas, scarves, t-shirts and other gear by Adam Harvey and Johanna Bloomfield provide cover for anybody who wants to remain as undetected as possible.
Wearing Harvey and Bloomfield's radiation-blocking outfits would reportedly make that part of the body appear black to a drone, so that the image would appear like a disembodied limb.
The designers also created a special pouch for cell phones that shields them from trackers by blocking the radio.

Max MArkson has revealed that the future of Tamworth Country Music Festival could be at risk. The event's official publicist, who caused controversy as a contestant on last year's Australian Celebrity Apprentice, said that he needs to find "international" acts to headline the festival, in order to boost flagging crowd figures. Musicians currently lined up for Tamworth Country Music Festival 2012 include Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley and Adam Harvey. Markson told reporters in the city on Sunday (January 22): "What you had last year was Keith Urban and Kenny Rogers performing - two big international stars. We don't (more)...

The full list of nominations for the 40th Jayco Cmaa Country Music Awards of Australia 2012 has been released. Singer Adam Harvey has been named for eight Golden Guitars including 'Male Artist of the Year', 'Album of the Year' and 'Single of the Year', while Shane Nicholson received seven nominations, including some in the same categories. Harvey told Aap: "It's awesome. It's really nice to get that pat on the shoulder from a lot of your peers. But I've had six nominations before and haven't won a single Golden Guitar, so I know these days not to get too worked up about it." James Blundell, Graeme Connors and Keith Urban are also in the running for 'Male Artist of the Year', while musicians such as Kirsty Akers, Jasmine Rae and Beccy Cole will fight it out (more)...

Enough with the cumbersome wires, lights, and battery packs. The new wave of wearable technology prizes style, comfort, and utility.
"Wearable technology." The phrase is almost as cumbersome as the thing it describes, evoking goofy images of sci-fi from the '80s: the Ghostbusters' proton pack, those ridiculous glasses in Star Trek: The Next Generation. There's a sense in which wearable technology fits within the most esoteric realms of haute couture: so hideous it's hip, and so hip it's hideous. Whatever motivates its makers, one thing is certain: Wearable technology has long seemed incredibly impractical.
Until now. Increasingly, members of the wearable tech community are beginning to think of ways their creations can not only be eye-popping but how they can also be useful. And in the process, they might just stumble on a sizable, untapped market.
Take, for instance, the work of Alex Vessels & Mindy Tchieu. A little while back,...

With Tsr Buzz, you’ll find links to articles, videos and other random things that will help you waste your time just a little bit more.
If you’re a fan of my weekly Buzz column, you may have noticed how much I love Kenny Mf Powers. The K-Swiss ads have been amusing so far, but this video knocks it up a notch to a whole other level of amazing. Not only is Danny McBride great but there are some pretty sweet celebrity cameos, including an angry Jillian Michaels and a sleazy Michael Bay. (Nsfw)

George C. Scott watches the trailer for Adam Sandler’s Jack and Jill. He expresses exactly what I felt. The movie should be renamed “Adam Sandler Has Complete Contempt For His Fans.”

Wouldn’t it be awesome if Pee Wee’s Playhouse was rebooted?...
