- Is a drummer. Played in bands all through school, was in a Kiss cover band!
- Is a licensed Fork Lift Operator.
- In the mid to late '80s, started out in the a small Northwest acting community with people like Billy Burke, Brent Fraser, Brendan Fraser, Jim Caviesal, Sheryl Lee, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tiffany Paulsen, Jeff Probst and Kirk B. Woller.
- Was a champion pole vaulter in Jr. High and High School. Went into Junior Olympic Program and then College as a Decathlete.
- Was a bartender across the street from The Kingdome in Seattle in the late 80s. Used to bounce his own bar/cantina and would kick cigars and cigarettes from the mouth of a bull head behind the bar at 9 feet high...for big tips and to keep people in line. Big on bar tricks and stunts long before "Cocktail"!
- Was the hero in the Shah Safari clothing commercial in which Hechim is transported back in time to rescue a princess from sorcery at Stonehenge. Ran on MTV daily for almost a year in the early 90s. He broke the sword during one rescue scene.
- Once screen-tested with Kelly Ripa for a replacement part on "All My Children".
- Favorite band: Rush
- First Blackbelt 9-11-1985, A.A.U Karate/Kungfu "School of the Tiger" under Hanshi Donald Buck. Is in Kiokushin Blackbelt Hall of Fame.
- Co-Owned Cinema Espresso with Tiffany Paulsen in Seattle and is a master Barista - famous for pouring a Yin Yang symbol in a cafe' latte.
- Lifelong Oakland Raider fan. Newspaper story done on his trip to Superbowl 37...from his ritual game day clothing and make up...silver and black down to his underwear...and the Sea of Tampa Bay fans that surrounded his seat.
- Trained with Sa Bum Nim Daniel S. DiVito. At one point was training for the early UFC competetions. He also has trained with Sensei (Hanshi) Donald Buck, Sa Bum Nim Thomas Zoppi, Master Remy Presas (founder of Modern Arnis - stick fighting). Master Herb Cody, and many other fellow Blackbelts and fighters. He has been teaching Martial Arts and Self Defense since the 80s and will not take money for what he feels is his duty to teach.
