- Jack Hoar was born on January 13, 1948. He is an actor, known for To Live and Die in L.A. (1985), Shocker (1989) and A Dangerous Affair (1995).
- He is a 29 years LAPD veteran. Prior to this, he was with the US Army and did two tours in Vietnam.
- Is an expert marksman and taught shooting in Police Academy.
- Jack is a retired Police Officer from the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A.P.D. and was assigned to the now-infamous, Rampart Division.
- Besides the Rampart Division, he worked in LAPD's most toughest divisions: 77th Street, Newton, Central, Wilshire, Hollenbeck, Southeast and Southwest.
- Worked in several specialized units of the LAPD: Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums (C.R.A.S.H. - Anti-Gang Unit), Field Enforcement Section of the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Special Investigation Section, Organized Crime & Vice Unit, Robbery Homicide Division and Metro Division "C" Platoon (Crime Suppression Unit) and "D" Platoon (Special Weapons And Tactics). He is also one of the most decorated officer of the Los Angeles Police Department.
