Fans of ’80s fantasy action-adventure/horror rejoice. Director Shaky Gonzalez’s “The Last Demonslayer” is headed your way later this year, and it’s said to be “very much inspired by many of the genre movies from the 80′s”. The whole thing is apparently about an “evil Succubus” played by Maja Muhlack. The film is currently in production outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, but they’ll be heading to shoot in Death Valley in the States later this year. Starring Kim Sønderholm, Daniell Edwards, Erik Holmey, David Sakurai, Maja Muhlack, Dennis Haladyn, Mustafa Ali, Hector Vega Mauricio, and Danny Thykær. Shaky Gonzalez's award winning "The Last Warrior" is being billed as a noteworthy tribute to the great PAsploitation flicks of the 1980s (read: anything by Enzo G. Castellari). It has a great cast in Marinela Dekic (Pusher 3), Erik Holmey (Conan The Barbarian) and introducing Maja Mae as a woman of the wastekland out for revenge.
There's scant info available on the film, but we've been given the film's official poster and a couple of stills to share. And luckily, the film is getting a release on the the Scandinavian "Wasteland Tales" DVD that streets tomorrow, so we'll have a review to you soon.
Check out some 80s Pa awesomeness after the break!

This thing is beautifully shot (Red One I'm guessing) and contains quite a bit of action and potential. Japanese/Danish actor and co-director David Sakurai tells us it's in the style of Nicholas Refn's pusher trilogy in that it depicts the underworld of Copenhagen, Denmark.
This teaser is a bit rough as the film's still in post-production, but it looks great! The movie stars Stephanie Leon (Hush Little Baby), David Sakurai (Fighter), Daniell Edwards (Westbrick Murders), Erik Holmey (Conan The Barbarian) and Slavko Labovic from the Pusher trilogy!
