Contest: Win a WolfCop Prize Pack, Including a Blu-ray Copy, Flask, Signed Poster, Comic Book & More
Imagine if high school student Scott Howard from Teen Wolf grew up, traded his letter jacket for a police uniform, and became a barely functioning alcoholic. Sound interesting? Then you'll likely dig Lowell Dean’s WolfCop, a creature feature with a wicked sense of humor that's packed with blood-soaked practical effects. Today, Image Entertainment unleashed WolfCop on Blu-ray and DVD, and to celebrate the release, they've provided us with two prize packs to give away to a couple of lucky Daily Dead readers. The grand prize contains a Blu-ray copy of the film, a flask (to go with the bottoms up spirit of Lou Garou), a signed poster featuring WolfCop sprawled out on his own human skin, and more.
"Officer Lou Garou isn’t the best cop in small-town Woodhaven – in fact, he’s probably the worst. He mostly just looks to avoid anything that could possibly interfere with his goal of getting wasted.

Imagine if high school student Scott Howard from Teen Wolf grew up, became a functioning alcoholic, and got a job as a cop in a small town. Sound interesting? If so, then you might like writer/director Lowell Dean’s film, WolfCop, which premiered earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival and has just been acquired by Image Entertainment.
Image Entertainment has gained all Us rights to WolfCop, which was presented by CineCoup upon its release. After a positive reception at Cannes, CineCoup in May announced a sequel, revealing that production on WolfCop 2 would begin in the fall with Lowell Dean returning to direct.
“It’s not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn.
Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou’s senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he’s a rage-fueled werewolf.

Baute, told TheWrap on Tuesday. In February, Kudrow was ordered to pay $1.6 million to Howard, after a jury found in a 10-2 count that Kudrow had violated her oral agreement with her former manager. Just hours after Friends star Lisa Kudrow was ordered to pay $1.6 million to her former manager Scott Howard after a trial last February, the jury foreman Steve de Bode got on a red-eye flight to Atlanta. A former aircraftman in the British Royal Air Force, de Bode moved to the United States in 2009 and became an American citizen nine months before the trial started. At the time, he was honored to be participating in the judicial system of his adopted home country. But as he sat on the flight, de Bode's sense of happiness turned to despair.

Lisa Kudrow has been ordered to pay her former manager Scott Howard $1.6 million in residuals by a jury in Santa Monica, Calif., on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Kudrow Sued For Residual Commission From 'Friends'
Howard acted as Kudrow’s manager for 16 years, starting in 1991, before Kudrow earned her star-making role as Phoebe in Friends. After Kudrow fired Howard in 2007, Howard sued Kudrow in 2008 for residual earnings, claiming that as her former manager, he is entitled to five percent of her earnings for any jobs she booked while they worked together. The lawsuit has been long and hard for both parties, after first being ruled in Kudrow’s favor and then overturned in appeals, and many industry insiders are paying close attention to the case, as it could set an industry precedent for dealings between manager and client, which are less regulated than the business relationship between agent and client. Clients are not...

After fighting a long battle in her "Friends" residuals lawsuit, Lisa Kudrow has lost her case against her former manager, Scott Howard.
The 50-year-old's attorney, Gerald Sauer said in a statement today (February 26) that, "The jury’s verdict is merely one step in the legal process."
Continuing, Sauer stated, "This case ultimately will be resolved at the appellate level. Ms. Kudrow has faith in the judicial system, and she believes that the eventual outcome of this contractual dispute will be in her favor."
However, after reports from the case came in this afternoon, The Daily News stated that the "Friends" alum has lost the legal battle with her ex-manager Scott Howard, owing him a hefty sum of $1.6 million.

Update: A jury ordered Kudrow to pay her manager $1.6 million in residuals from her time on Friends, per reports. ________________________ Lisa Kudrow took the stand in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday, testifying against her former manager Scott Howard, who claims the actress owes him a substantial cut of her earnings from re-runs from her mega-hit comedy Friends. The actress' income was called into question—in particular, her paychecks from the hit NBC series—as Howard claims he is owed money from deals he made with Kudrow before he was fired in 2007. The two began their working relationship more than 20 years ago, and Howard is currently suing Kudrow for $1.7...

2Nd Update, 10:59 Am: So maybe no one told Lisa Kudrow that the legal system could be this way, but she’s not done with her Friends residuals battle with former manager Scott Howard yet. “The jury’s verdict is merely one step in the legal process,” Kudrow’s lawyer Gerald Sauer told me today about the roughly $1.6 million decision in Howard’s favor this morning. “This case ultimately will be resolved at the appellate level. Ms. Kudrow has faith in the judicial system, and she believes that the eventual outcome of this contractual dispute will be in her favor.” At least we know Sauer will be there for Kudrow. Update 12:08 Pm: If Kudrow does aim to appeal, Howard’s lead attorney says bring it on. “What generally happens now with unsophisticated actress clients is they overpay for filing a frivolous appeal that has no chance for success,” said Mark Baute to me today.

What happened to Teen Wolf's Scott Howard (Michael J. Fox) after he left high school and transitioned into adulthood as a dude who has the ability to transform into a wolf? Unfortunately we never found out -- and Jason Bateman's bland Teen Wolf follow-up didn't provide us with those answers. So we waited, forever curious about Howard's ongoing adventures as half man, half wolf. Would it interfere with college? How about getting a job? Would a woman even marry him knowing her kids could end up as wolf kids? MTV attempted to bring back Teen Wolf, except it was all serious and Twilight-y, making it clear from the start that lifetime members of the Scott Howard fan club (myself included) weren't welcome. But finally -- finally! -- all these years later, here...
