That Kate Bush, eh? Prolific songwriter by day, Doctor Who writer at night. Well, actually, that's not true. It was just a rumour circulating at the time that Christopher Bailey was actually a pseudonym for the eerie warbler. And I'm not too sure that Bailey would be too happy about the link.
Still, in a way you can see why a handful of folks might think this. Like Bush's meisterworks, Kinda is unusual, eccentric, deep 'n' meaningful, and also very entertaining. Some of the set pieces could possibly have come from one of Bush's videos, especially the scenes in Teabag's mind. You almost half expect Bush to leap out of the darkness from behind the steel girders to start crooning a variant on 'The Man With The Child In His Eyes' called 'The Woman With The Vile In Her Eyes'.
So pull out the psychologist's chair, and let's delve deep...

Television comedy director and producer known for Fawlty Towers, Steptoe and Son and Till Death Us Do Part
Douglas Argent, who has died aged 89, was a prolific producer and director who scored hits with Till Death Us Do Part, Steptoe and Son, Fawlty Towers and Spike Milligan's Q8 and Q9 series – all with humour that pushed the boundaries of TV comedy.
He was gifted the second series of Fawlty Towers to produce in 1979. The creation of John Cleese and Connie Booth – who had divorced since the first run, four years earlier – went on to top a British Film Institute list of the 100 best TV programmes, as voted for by industry professionals. Argent modestly insisted that its success lay in the writing. However, producers guide all those working on their programmes and his track record was impressive, particularly in the field of comedy.
Argent was born in Bexleyheath, Kent, and his parents ran ironmonger's shops.

We recently reported that Torchwood has begun filming its highly-anticipated third season in Cardiff, Wales. In fact, the Doctor Who spin-off was renewed last month and was given a third season order, entitled Torchwood: Children of the Earth. This new season will be a single five-episode story arc, contrary to the regular 13-episode run. The new season will be following the Torchwood team as they head out to their biggest battle yet. In fact, series creator Russell T. Davies promises this season to be “bigger,” “bolder,” and “better” than ever before.
The third season, which Davies says he hopes to be a “gripping” chapter of the series, is now currently in production and BBC has released some details about who’s to appear in the upcoming season.
"This series is one big serial and the most ambitious story we've ever made, and we've got plenty of surprises in store,...
